Love It!
I was hoping this little flashlight would have a beam with nice flood - the way I like it. And that's exactly what the beam is like. The 3 modes are very useful. The first & second brightness levels will be used to dimly illuminate a bedroom so I can get in & out of bed in the dark. I hung the light where I can reach it without getting up & the beam is pointed at the ceiling so the whole room is dimly lit - perfect when you don't want a bright light when you first wake up. That's especially important when I sometimes have to get out of bed around 4-5:00am. (You old guys know what I'm talking about). The flashlight comes with an AA battery, lanyard, pocket/hat clip & spare O Ring. A nice, high-quality package at a good price.

YOU SHOULD OWN THIS FLASHLIGHT
One of the smallest and brightest of the Fenix line. I have owned Fenix LED flashlights for over a decade. This one fits nicely on both my house keys and car key chain. I like the fact that it's power comes from a easy to get AA battery, unlike the newer models what need to be recharged. I myself own both types with the more powerful units being rechargeable. This has three brightness settings, is fairly small, and very durable. This is very handy whether looking for something, like in a dark theater, under the bed, inside the car, walking on a dark road or even looking around a parking lot. A must have safety device in my opinion.

A fantastic little light
I was a fan of the 1.0 version of this light, and was frankly irritated when Fenix replaced it with this model. After not being able to find the previous version to buy online, I reluctantly picked up this one. While this model isn't quite as sturdily built as the last generation, it remains a fantastic little light. It's quite bright, reliable, and light weight, with a very handy size and the perfect power format in my opinion - one AA battery. Battery life is nothing short of incredible, and it outperforms the previous generation. I tested mine with an Amazon brand green rechargeable AA (the eneloop clone) on low mode, and ran the light continuously to see how long it would last. After 80 hours, I finally got bored checking on it and turned it off. Fantastic. Twenty years ago you couldn't have bought a flashlight this good at any price. Recommended.

Best pocket light so far.
Despite many clumsy, inadvertant attempts to drop and destoy this light, I have been unable. Nowadays, I have several and the oldest was carried for two years and used daily. It did not fail, but was replaced due to all of the scuff marks from abuse.Brightness is excellent, especially, given the three brightness settings. One doesn't always want arc welder like intensity. So, the lower settings are most often used. Outdoors, the brightest setting works well, putting many larger lights to shame.Battery life is good. I like the AA battery over the CR123 due to lower price and similar life. Now, I keep a spare on the shelf to replace a future lost or crushed light. Family members were also given these to limit appropriations of my light.

Worth it
Although a bit pricey for a compact flashlight I thinks is worth it. Good durability and great light output. The pocket clips is a game changer for me as I’m able to clip it to my hat brim when I’m under my car for an oil change. Not perfect for everyone though is a bit think compared to other compact models so if you carry it in pocket with other things like a pocket knife you’ll definitely notice it. It also lacks a memory setting to keep the last brightness setting you were previously on, not a deal breaker but it would’ve been nice to have.

Handy
This is my everyday carry flashlight now. It's small and doesn't clog my pocket. Low beam is good for getting around a dark area and the medium and bright are easy to change to with the half press of the switch. The switch is good to use, no problems at all. Also it has low, medium and high beams without a strobe setting which is good, I hate the strobe on a flashlight, I think strobe is worthless. I accidentally dropped the light from about 4 feet onto concrete and the glass lens is cracked but the light still functions as new. I'd buy this flashlight again.

A fine pocket light for everyday carry
It's small, it's bright and it's built like a tank. It uses one AA battery so there's no need for unusual batteries and the battery life is longer than with similar-sized lights that depend upon a AAA battery for power. The price is reasonable and the quality is excellent. Fenix doesn't seem to be able to make a bad flashlight, and they didn't make one with this one.

Great pocket flashllight
Haven't had it long enough to evaluate battery life or durability but the size is perfect as a pocket flashlight, also for a messenger bag or similar. The light is bright enough to illuminate a poorly lit walkway from where I park for work to the door, even at a low or medium setting. I didn't buy this as a 'tactical' flashlight but after a couple of events years ago when I needed a flashlight but didn't have one, always carry a flashlight now; when you need it, you need it.
