I didn't realise how bad my hearing was nd how much I was relying on lip reading until having to wear face masks.I can honestly say this product has totally transformed my world. I feel part of conversations again and it has improved my confidence.I highly recommend it. So easy to use and comfortable to wear.I bought to wear on my slightly ok ear but when my husband suggested trying it on my useless one, I could have cried. It works! I had to ramp the volume up but I could hear! I've just ordered another one for this ear.It is worth every penny.

It's not a hearing aid as you might have from Boots or Specsavers - i.e., It's not a nuanced, frequency-adjusted sound tailored for your personal hearing, not programmed. It doesn't claim to be. It's an amplifier, making everything louder, including background noises. It does what it says well and as a basic or, as in my case, a temporary replacement or back up to more expensive Boots etc products, it's very good. Volume adjustment is very helpful though it's in pre-set stages rather than a sliding increase or decrease. Rechargeable batteries with a simple on/off switch are both plusses. Robustness not a problem (a bit chunkier than my Boots 'invisibles') and no problems with hardware though recharge lead needs to be pushed in firmly. One earpiece makes directionality of sound slightly harder. I may buy a second one to improve that aspect and, to overcome the background noise problem ( I'm guessing two at lower volume on each would be better - having only one earpiece forces you to use higher volume). Overall, pleasantly surprised.

I bought this as a test to see if hearing aids would help me before buying the more expensive ones. In that respect it has been helpful particularly for watching TV which is what I wanted. It is not the greeatest product, but it is what can be expected for the price. The main objection, which I understand is common at the lower end of the market, is that all sounds are magnified at the same volume, whether it is the TV, someone talking to you or simply chewing. The other thing is that the controls are fidly, difficult to read the volume settings and easily changed by mistake.

To be fair, these are sold as amplifiers, rather than hearing aids, and that's just what they are - they amplify everything, which, for me, is no real improvement. Useless outdoors because of the wind noise, and I found them of little use in company. Modern films on TV show slight improvement, but hardly worth bothering with. Again, in fairness, I tested a set of aids last year which were not that much better, and they cost £3000!

Arrived in a box with accessories, twin plug adapter, usb charger, 6 or so different ear plug choices. Charged in about 4-6 hours, great neat job, stays in place well, fabulous for the price. Best value rechargeable hearing aid on Amazon. Discrete under hair, my son said it looks like a blue tooth headphone ear piece so can’t be bad. Happy to use this daily, great quality for the price would recommend to anyone dipping into hearing aids for the first time as I was.

Bulky usightly noisy

Bought this for my 75-year-old mother who has difficulty hearing in one ear. She has been to multiple appointments with audio specialists for tests and even given a hearing aid from the NHS which she said did nothing.So I thought would give this a punt and if honest I was a little sceptical because of the price bracket.However, after selecting a comfy sized earpiece for her and fitting it behind the ear I first put it on 2 as it stated in the manual and left the room and walked to the second bedroom roughly (30ft away), although she said it was working it was only a slight increase to her hearing.So next I turned it up to 3 and bingo she could hear everything I was saying and I was just talking in a soft normal tone so this has been a game-changer for her and would recommend giving this device a go.

I had difficulty in hearing clearly conversations and the TV speech and have now tried a number of different products to solve this but with little success until I used this product. It took a bit of fiddling to find the most suitable ear bud and then setting the sound level I wanted but worth the “trouble”. For the money an excellent product that actually does the job.

J'étais optimiste pour ce produit mais hormis la belle couleur, je n'ai rien de positif à lui attribuer :- le son est horrible. L'amplification de certains bruits est insupportable et parasite les sons durant des conversations, c'est intenable. Son robotique- la boucle qui va dans l'oreille (écouteur) est inesthétique, visible de loin mais surtout douloureuse sur l'oreille. De plus elle est trop courte- j'avais besoin de cet appareil pour mon oreille gauche mais elle ne s'adapte qu'à la droite ... Ce n'est absolument pas un appareil qui peut s'adapter aux deux oreilles de manière interchangeable- je n'ai pas pu tester la durée de la batterie car je ne l'ai pas véritablement pu porter- Le côté qui est censé tenir sur l'oreille ne tient pas car trop gros, impossible donc pour moi de le porter- l'appareil était pas cher mais clairement pas de bonne qualité non plus, je suis très déçue et vais le renvoyer car je ne peux pas l'utiliser.
