Solid Brass Sink Overflow Cap Round Hole Cover for Bathroom Basin, Matte Black Finished

FIRST: Take a really accurate measurement of the hole. For some reason, there doesn't seem to be a "Standard" size for these. It's really aggravating as these holes can be VERY difficult to accurately measure, and the differences are so small, yet can change whether a cap will fit or not. So, mine fits perfectly, and is brushed nickel on brass as ordered. The finish is beautiful and matches my Delta brushed nickel fixtures perfectly. If yours is a little loose, you can GENTLY bend the plastic prongs on the clip out, but there is a limit to how much. I let mine sit in hot tap water for a minute to soften the plastic, then used my fingers to spread the prongs out a little. Run cold water over it to "set" the new spacing, and you're done. If the cap is too big for the basin hole, you're out of luck. The base of the plastic clip attaches to the metal cap, which won't allow you to seat the cap in a hole that's too small. Durability? I'd assume the finish will last a LONG time, but I'll update the review if that changes. The plastic clip that holds it in place will probably break long before the finish wears out. These clips are typical to almost all the caps I've seen, so I don't expect any surprise as to longevity. If you want an upgrade from the cheap plastic caps, this is a great way to go!

This is an idea overflow cover. It does allow water through but there is no unsightly hole or screen. For my purposes it works great to cover an overflow hole that isn't hooked up to any plumbing, and I can easily pop it out and cover the internal overflow opening with clear silicone that won't be visible. The brass color looks great with my other brass hardware, not an obnoxious brass variant. Definitely recommend.

Fit perfectly with matching finish.

I ordered two and they are a perfect match to the oil rubbed bronze fixtures. It fit perfect in one sink. It fit a little loose in the the other, but fits well enough, that it won't fall out. It adds the finishing touches that the bathrooms needed. I definitely recommend these. They are made well and solid, not flimsy.

It was difficult to select from the many possibilities for capping the hole in my two bathroom sinks. But I'm SO glad I selected this item. It's very sturdy and was very easy to insert into the hole. Initially I bought one to make sure it fit and then I bought a second one. They look perfect and fit perfectly too.

Needed to replace the awful fake chrome drain covers that came with the sinks installed in my vanity top. These are a great match to my Delta matte black faucets and drain and have completed the look I was going for! Made of metal and plastic and fit like a glove!!! Very pleased

Used it for laundry flow pipe. Does the job.

Jedenfalls ist die Abdeckung, die wir bekommen haben zu klein bei einem 25mm Waschbeckenüberlaufloch - und sitzt darin lose ... Da es, zumindest über die letzten Monate, keine Alternativen gab für so eine Abdeckung in Nickel gebürstet und für 25mm Waschbeckenüberlaufloch geeignet, haben wir uns auf den völlig überteuerten Preis von 20,17 € eingelassen. Der Artikel ist eigentlich gut aber aufgrund des hohen Preises und vorallem da die Größe in der Realität von der Beschreibung abweicht und in unserem Fall dieser Artikel somit nicht passt, vergeben wir dafür maximal 2 Sterne.

Great look and worth it... Wish they have different sizes as I have few wash basin which have holes slightly bigger than 25 mmm and in this case tbe back holder is not tight when fitting
