Mariella Mystery Investigates a Cupcake Conundrum (Mariella Mysteries)

Our six-year old devoured this 174-page book cover-to-cover and said she loved it. We caught her up late reading it twice.

I read the Mariella Mystery books out loud to my 5 and 9 year old boys. The main characters are all girls, but they are not overly girly, so, I get to read a slightly more "girly" book, and my boys don't think I'm punishing them in some twisted way. This one was my favorite so far with great clues along the way that had us all trying to figure out the ending. My 5 year old loves that there are pictures and doodles on the page, it makes it more fun for him. He is just now getting into listening to longer chapter books and for a while the only way he would be excited about one is if it had pictures on the pages. All of these books have adorable doodles and the pages resemble a journal. I do believe my 9 year old could read this himself but he wouldn't choose it on his own. He still picks Jedi Academy or Plants Vs. Zombies graphic novels.

Another great Mariella Mystery story. As in the first book from this series that my daughter read she loved the unique formatting of the book, but even better was the humor and lively banter of the characters that you find in this and other Mariella Mystery stories. The book was a quick read and my daughter got through the book in a single sitting (she loves to read). All-in-all this is a great mystery that incorporates humor and fun throughout the book!*I received this for review - all opinions are my own*

Great Book for kids. My 9 year old loved it. She stayed up until midnight reading it and couldn't put it down.

Unfortunately, delivery took longer than expected. However, your children will never bored of Mariella and her mystery’s.
