Provides an unparalleled amount of light
After a recent multi day power outage, I was determined to replace my aging flashlights. Did a good bit of research to find my replacements. If one can be in love with a flashlight, this could be the one...

Most Incredible Light. You'll want to show it to your family and friends.
I have one ar home and love it. Used ir as a night light in the bathroom during a power outage. Went all night and kept my 99 year old mom safe. Had to get this one for a gift to our son-in-law.

Heavy duty, compact and bright
This is a great tool to have! The day I received this, we had a power outage, and I was able to use it right away. It is extremely useful and does not take up a lot of space. The handle is magnetic, and so we store it on a metal cabinet, ready to be used in an emergency. This flashlight is bright, easily illuminating a room on high or low. The magnet helps if you need both hands, as we did when starting our generator. We didn't have to put the flashlight on the ground, but stuck it chest high on our car as we worked on starting our car. Being able to use it hands free and not have an awkward angle, or worry about it rolling away was such a help for us.I also used it while replacing an overhead light fixture in our basement that doesn't get much sunlight. With the power off, it's dark even during midday. This flashlight illuminated my entire work area and because I didn't have to hold it (instead, I opened the handle and set it like a sandwich board on the table), it allowed me to freely use both hands to complete the work in a well-lit space. It's just a simple click to adjust the brightness or power the flashlight on or off. This would be easy enough for anyone to handle, and I think it would be very helpful for my mother to have around. The magnet makes it easy to stick on a cabinet or refrigerator so that it's handy to have access to whether in the garage or in the event of a power outage. It is an unobtrusive size, and doesn't take up too much space.Overall, I felt this is a value to have in our home and it will definitely be used again and again.

Great Light for Working in Small Spaces
The Coast PM300 700 Lumen Magnetic Focusing Worklight with 360-Degree Rotating Handle and Pivoting Beam has been very helpful in my projects fixing our motorhome. It produces very good broad or tight beam light, is compact, and has a very strong magnet at its base. Many motorhome projects are done in small spaces with little external light. Lately, I have fixed automatic steps, an inverter, and did some minor washing machine maintenance. The Worklight has made these jobs clearly visible if not easy to fix.The light output is on 3 levels: high 700 Lumens, medium 350 Lumens, and low 80 Lumens. The light beam can be changed from broad to focused by adjusting (turning) the lens.Battery life is good: 11 hours on high, 17 hours on medium, and 60 hours on low. Six AA Alkaline batteries are required (included). The unit is a bit heavy 1.57 pounds, but the magnet holds it on metal securely at many angles. The head with the lens twists 180 degrees. The handle that includes the magnet ratchets 360 degrees. I haven’t found a space on the motorhome that I cannot light with this great portable light. The unit is 7 inches long x 3 inches wide x 1.25 inches thick with handle and lens closed for transport.Excellent product by Coast.

Great throw plus extra wide beams, bright. Handle, magnet, swivel and more.
I ordered this light because it looked interesting, but I had no idea what to expect. Gotta say I'm impressed. First, it's big. 6.25x3x2 inches - and heavy - 18 oz. It's built from resin infused plastic - much stronger than traditional plastics and more forgiving than metals. The bezel/focus ring is anodized aluminum while the lens is molded polycarbonate. The lens head rotates 180 degrees. The red portion is a handle and kick-stand - plus has a powerful magnet in the base - it holds the light at any position. Photo #6 is the light stuck to the side of a steel column.Beam: Garage door photos. All photos are 4 feet away. #1 is wide, #2 is medium, #3 is spot. Outdoors, #1 is spot aiming at a tree 40 feet away. Then aiming at a tree 75 feet away. Then on wide beam - it's about 130 degrees of coverage. The switch: 1 click, high, 2 for medium, 3 for low. 4th is off cycle all three quickly, or turn on and wait a few seconds - the 2nd click is then OFF.Uses 6 AA batteries (included) - you can also use rechargables. A really handy light. Camping, working, emergencies. Wide on medium will light a small room comfortably.

Versatile -- Lens Swivels 180 degrees -- Great Magnet in Handle
Lots to like about this light though it came with no written user guide or instructions except a picture on the outside of the box. Pretty easy to figure out how to use though. Good solid construction. Batteries already installed so all I had to do was turn it on.LIght pattern can be focused or diffused by turning the cap around the lens itself. The swivel handle can be hung up or used as a multi-angle stand for the light. Handle is sturdy. Even better is the magnet embedded at the end of the handle which allows the light to be attached to any metal surface on which a magnet can be attached. The magnet holds the light firmly at any angle and is a feature I find very useful. I hung the light on the side of my tool chest and it stayed put while carrying and while in use.Light output is bright. Push on/off switch to get low/medium/high beam. Light output average for number of batteries and bulb type. It's more than adequate for use camping, around the house or for emergency lighting of a room size area. It's not in same category as Fenix which is my goto brand normally for flashlights but it's quite close.
