Great product!
This is easy to use and is packaged very well for protection during shipment. It has a locking cover for the probe which is a great added feature.

Excellent Immersion Thermometer
Very versatile and accurate immersion thermometer. Used for cooking (checking center of cooked meats), checking water temperature etc. seems to meet +/- 1C accuracy when checked against ice bath and boiling water.

Easy, fast purchase
Needing a certified thermometer for lab accreditation, this one does the trick. We use it to calibrate the rest of our older thermometers.

vapors condense inside the unit
One would think that a thermometer will be used in an environment that has vapors, right? Therefore you should make sure that the electronics module is sealed and the vapors will not condense inside the module, right? Evidently, this thermometer was not built with that idea in mind. After the first use I saw the condensation and after several more uses the thermometer stopped working. What a waste of money.
