I'm a resin tumbler maker and I have tried and used up to 8 different kinds of resin to figure out which one works best. I recently got an eight cup order so I jumped right in. I live in Florida (very south Florida like the everglades south) and found a lot of the resin I normally use just wasn't cutting it. I had to strip several cups because of dimpling and bumpiness. I never used Pro Marine before but a lot of crafters swear by it. I gave it a try and it solved all my problems and the best part is that less expensive than the most popular brands. I started with just 8oz then ordered it by the gallon.

The media could not be loaded. Bog fan of Pro Marines new products. Easy to use and I get very few micro bubbles. Hard to poor from large bottles. Although ot has lower VOC than other brands, I still have to wear a full face mask and double glove to avoid over exposure.

This stuff is the best art resin! It does have a strong odor but if you use your PPE like you should when working with resin this shouldn't be am issue. I ended up buying 7 gallons in a month.

Very consistent results, smooth finish that get a hard finish about 72 hours later.

I loved to use it. It took longer to dry then what I usually use but it works perfectly. It was a little more liquid then I expected even after perfecting the measurements

I'm a beginner and so far ProMarine is the only brand I've tried. I did a lot of research and this seemed to be one of the best. The first batch I got was great. Did exactly what I expected it to. The second batch I got was very bubbly. I couldn't get them out no matter what I did. I had many wasted projects out of it and had to do more damage control than was worth it to save them. Three stars because that first batch was fantastic and I would have stuck with it forever if that was what I always got. Minus two stars because the second batch was that bad . I think I'm going to branch out and try something else this time.

I have been using Promise Pro Resin (AKA Pro Marine) for years. I recently decided (I don't know why) to try another brand and had nothing but trouble with it. I have returned to this brand and don't plan to stray again.

So I bought this resin back at the beginning of the year. I just got around to opening and using this resin. I had heard good thing about this brand. The odor was pungent and just horrible. My husband asked my why it smelt like nail polish remover in the room where I craft. The work time is like zero. Normally I can let resin sit for 20 mins to degas, for the microbubbles to disperse, which there's a crap ton of those too. By the 15min mark the cup was hot and the resin was starting to cure. I use resin to cast, coat, and dome. This is not the resin for doming or coating. It's way too thin. If I hadn't spent so much on this product, I would just get rid of it. Please don't waste your money on this product. perhaps their table top is better but I'm making jewelry and keychains in silicone molds. Never buying again!
