Did you read that these are flavored? I missed that part.
I suppose it should go without saying that I missed that these powdered food color bottles are flavored. After rereading I kinda got it, but it's not super clear. Whatever. They made the frosting color nicely. I made royal icing(merengue powder, powdered sugar and water method) and added some of this to small amounts. It took more than I expected to get the desired color tinting and the more I added, the stronger the flavors became. Fortunately this application was used on simple sugar cookies so it worked out. Glad I didnt put these on a flavored sweet.

NOT NATURAL
These are not not natural. The title and description is so misleading. Just got the product and on the ingredient list clearly states it does contain added food coloring. Just because it has some turmeric and other plant derived pigments, they can't call it natural. I can not use it due to my son's illness, he can not have regular food coloring.

High quality natural colorings!
I recently threw out all of my food coloring and replaced them with these natural colorings. I should have done it sooner! First of all - this is a much larger selection that what you get in that little box from the grocery store so bonus points right from the start! But I'm mostly impressed with the quality of ingredients in these colorings and how vibrant the colors are! They are very economical, it just take a little to get nice coloring. They are super easy to blend into dough and batters and blend thoroughly with no streaking. The jars are tightly sealed so they are nice and fresh. They are also excellent to use when making edible playdough - great color selections and no need to worry about ingesting harmful chemicals. If you enjoy baking or just making your food fun for children, these are definitely a must-have!

Not for coloring candy.
This is advertised for use in coloring chocolate... Nope, nope, nope. It says use a 5 percent ratio... More like the entire bottle for 1 cup of white melting candies. I never achieved the color I wanted. Our Christmas candy was pastel red and pastel green. Tasted great, but color quality was awful. I tried using it in cake batter as well... Still pastel instead of the vibrant colors it's supposed to be. Soooo spend the extra money on the candy coloring rather than waste money on this.

Great colors for natural product
I haven't used all the colors yet but am fairly impressed. I used this to color Swiss meringue buttercream. It was the first time I made it and was nervous that adding liquid food coloring would affect the consistency. I did a small test batch of a blue and green mix to get a teal color. It was fairly light, so I ended up adding a ton and could taste the difference from the uncolored frosting. I used liquid coloring for the rest of the frosting, but as the test batch sat out the color got super intense and vibrant. I probably could have used less with less effect on the taste. Will try again next time.

The vibrant colors really make your food items pop out with color!
This plant-based food coloring powder is awesome! It’s stores and stays good a lot longer than the liquid food coloring’s. The color of these is extra bright and vibrant and makes just about anything you need food coloring for bright and cute! Lots of fun colors! So far I have use these to make bright frosting for cupcakes and a cake and my kids loved how bright they turned out! A little powder goes a really long way and I can tell that these will last a long time! When they do finally run out… I will definitely be ordering more! These really make your food items pop out with color! Definitely recommend these… My family loves them!

Poor quality, dull colors after mixing, have a strong scent
Poor quality Chinese product with typos on package. The pigments are extremely dull, requiring about half the bottle just to get anything more then a tint. They smell very strong. Purple smells like a scented grape marker, it overpowering and unfortunately they also have some flavor to them. I used 3 colors and will be throwing this set away. I purchased for macaron making however they will not bake correctly with this amount of additional powder needed .
