Stonegate Organic Large Free Range Eggs, 6 pack

I’ve purchased many organic egg brands as my household uses 200 eggs a month (sometimes more). M&S, Ocado, Waitrose, Riverford, local farm shops usually. These Stonegate eggs are by far the best-tasting eggs. I buy organic to get the best quality, and I thought they were all the same. Then one day I bought these on Amazon fresh and while eating them, my other half and I looked at each other like wow these eggs are distinctly better. They just taste richer and have a richer coloured yolk—none of that nuclear orange Clarence Court eggs that are pricey and not even organic. Plus those never scramble well imo.Pros- large eggs- organic (but if you read up on the actual website, the chickens are rotated to different areas so have better quality diets in addition to meeting organic standards)- tasty!Cons- pricey, although they go on discount fairly often- the best before date is normally around a week which is pitiful and for this reason I do not purchase these eggs oftenUltimately, I stick to Riverford eggs because they’re decently priced, have about 3 weeks on a best before date (so fresh) and are great quality as well. Abel and Cole sell Stonegate eggs under their own brand (as of the time of this review), but the cost is eye watering for large eggs. But if you want the best of the best, this is it!

These eggs are maybe a little more expensive than some, but they are delicious.

What are chickens now high class nobles? I think these are just a scam really, it didn't taste any different than cheaper eggs, so why bother? Also these eggs are vaccinated against salmonella, the British lion mark symbol is an indication the eggs have been vaccinated for this, and have been produced to the highest standards of food safety.Pasteurized eggs have been heated to a high enough temperature for a long enough time to kill salmonella, this may also kill beneficial nutrients though. I guess I would rather eat safer eggs so looking out for the lion symbol but pasture raised organic eggs is what we need to look for, where they let the chickens out and not feed them GMO's caged up. As if you eat the eggs from a chicken that eats GMO foods, then you will be eating GMO too (Genetically Modified Organics).I think these eggs are safe and are organic, that they allow the chickens to roam free and eat nature's candy, rather than the caged ones, but the price is just shocking, there are other organic eggs that are cheaper, I probably won't buy these again unless, all quality eggs are the same cheap price.

Great quality eggs, really easy to cook. They are light a really fresh taste so only needs a little seasoning. Really good price, definitely worth it.
