Being a victim of bedbugs in the past, I know a thing or two about bedbug prevention. I had previously bought another brand of mattress cover that ripped *so* easily when just putting it on the mattress, and continued to tear any other time it was moved. My old one was also a bit crinkly. This is a solid mattress cover. Soft to the touch, a bit paper-like, but nowhere near my last one. Went on easily. No tears. And now that it's in place, I've completely forgotten that it's on there (that is until I received an email to review it on Amazon :P)

I had a different bed-bug cover, which was OK, it worked (I assume). But it was always too big for my King mattress, lots of extra material that would never stay tucked in. Very frustrating. This one is GREAT. I have a normal depth mattress (16 inches), and this cover fits perfectly. I am so happy with it. I also DID wash it first, as the directions say. You do need two people to get it on. We finally stood it up on its bottom end, got the cover around the top end, pushed it down as much as possible, then layed the mattress back down. From there, it was easy to get the rest of the cover around the mattress, and zip it up.

Serves its purpose as well as any other cover I've used. The reason for the 3 stars is it much more difficult to put on than some of the other covers I've used because of the way the zipper is placed. It barely fit by 12 inch pillow top, so possibly size up to the 15 inch one if you are concerned about fit.

I recently purchased this bed sack to help control dust on our king mattress, which is older than I care to admit here. I was too lazy to go upstairs and measure the mattress and just purchased the sack for the thickest mattress, sure that if it could possibly be too small, the one I would get would be too small. It was not too small, but was very large. This is a sack where you can measure your mattress and trust their sack will fit your mattress. That being said, our sack is baggy under our sheets, but is quite comfortable. It does not feel like we have anything under the sheets. The best part is that unlike with every mattress pad I have ever tried, with the sack my sheets do not slip down on the bed. Even with the sack too large. The only reason I did not make this 5 stars is because it is rather fragile and feels like paper when you are putting it on. You must take care that it does not get caught on anything as you pull it over your mattress or box spring because it will rip. This is a great product and I am very happy with it.

The cover does not fit the mattress (too big), is hard to get on, and unless a standard mattress cover is over it, the material is very noisy when laying on. Plus with the box spring cover, the material is slippery together and the two move at the slightest touch and I need to realign the mattress and box spring every day.

I previously bought a pillow encasement from them to help my dustmite allergies. It was the best pillow encasement I've ever bought! It works, but its still breathable!After having MANY mattress encasements over the years, I was excited to try this one because of it's breathability. My old ones were hot and uncomfortable because they simply were not breathable. I received this one, and just like ELF pillow cases, it is indeed breathable.Other reviewers who bought this product a few years ago complained about the durability and quality... to me it looks like they have significantly improved on that front.

Had to order pillow cases, mattress cover and box spring cover for my king bed due to allergy to dust mites. These type products can be very costly especially in the king size. This brand is reasonably priced and excellent quality. I'm very pleased with this purchase. The covers are made of this special material that is NOT plastic which is great. To save a few dollars, I got the same brand in the economy line for the box spring, which is still a good product. I am very happy with this brand and will purchase from them any time I need this type of bedding covers for allergy sufferers.

I donno how much it has helped with my allergies because i'm still trapped in a nightmare apartment with a carpet that needs to toss outside and set on fire, BUT i do think that i breathe easier when in bed. So perhaps this is working? Maybe it's a placebo effect, but then you have to ask yourself if it makes you believe that you're feeling better, isn't that still working?The best thing about this, though, is that I don not feel as though it has added heat to the bed or pillow and it isn't crunchy so it sounds just like any other bed sheet. It hasn't woken me up, so that's a win for me.
