Olivia's Croutons Traditional Stuffing Mix - Natural and Vegan Dressing, 12 oz (Pack of 2)

We bought two packages of Olivia’s stuffing- the traditional flavored. Since we’d never tried it before, we wanted to have 1 package before thanksgiving to make sure it was good enough before serving it on the holiday. We have food allergies in the family so we can’t serve the usual common stuffing name brands. Flavor wise it was pretty decent. We always add raisins, cut up fresh celery and onions to our stuffing. It was easy to prepare- we just followed the directions. It paired well w pork chops for our taste testing meal. When we serve it w turkey on thanksgiving, we all said we might skip our extra ingredients and prepare as is. We actually enjoyed the various flours used in the mix instead of the traditional white or cornbread flours. We will use this again. While it is more expensive than regular store bought brands, it arrived quickly to our house and we didn’t have to worry about the ingredients being allergy friendly. So, we consider this a win win for everyone and a delicious stuffing. I think it tastes fine as prepared, but you could put your own twist on it as well.

The color of the croutons is very dark which we assumed because of the darker bread used. But the cubes tasted burnt, in both packages. We used one, to try it out before we used it for Christmas, and didn’t like it at all, it went into the garbage grinder. We threw the contents of the other one out on the driveway for the birds, but they didn’t eat it, and when we swept it up we noticed it had left very oily patches on the driveway.

Hello I am newly vegan and I order this for my 1st vegan Thanksgiving. I really liked the story of the owners. The flavor is soooo good. I added low sodium veggie stock, celery, and green onion. I really appreciate the lack of salt in this product. You will definitely need to add some but atleast you can control your intake. I really love this stuffing! Thanks foy making my 1st vegan Thanksgiving the best!

The product heading caused confusion for me, as this appeared to be gluten-free but was not.

I love this stuff! It tasted really good with just a little pepper and just a little goes a long way lol. I would highly recommend this to any of my friends. Vegan or not . I will be buying again !
