Actually working
Installed this in my Samsung refrigerator almost 2 months ago. Very easy application with defrosting taking quite some time. Have always had serious ice issues with this frig forming on the back and pudding under the pull out tray that became sheets of ice. Ever since installing this inexpensive fix, no ice. It actually works!

The FIX
I found this little gem to replace the little tiny factory flawed design clip drain that was causing our Samsung from defrosting. It got so bad the entire condensing coils were frozen over causing the plastic back panel to pop out and freezing over the fan causing it to stop spinning and therefore failing to cool the fridge. I called an appliance repair company to come over to look at it. He told me the two condensing motors had gone out and gave me a $750 estimate to replace the motors. The estimate drove me to do some research online and found that it was the clip drain that is the culprit. So I ordered the clip and also a motor suspecting the motor may have burnt out from the ice build up. After defrosting the entire unit for a day and using a hair dryer to help defrost the rest of the ice build up behind the panel, it was a simple unclip the old and clip on this little gem. I also replaced the motor and put it all back together without a hitch. It's been over a month now and our fridge is running perfectly. I highly recommend this product to anyone having this same issue.

Part appear that it will work wll
I was never able to install the part but it is not the fault of the manufacturer of the part. The Samsung refrigerator is the issue. I tried to thaw and remove the inner back center panel to install the part but the refrigerator has so much ice buildup behind the panel that I was concerned that I would not be able to remove the panel without destroying the styrofoam insulation and I stopped trying to install the part. We held on the the refrigerator for about another 2 years until the ice buildup from the poor design of the refrigerator got to be too much of an irritant. If you have time to let the refrigerator thaw for an extended length of time, the part would likely work very well. I have not issues with this part. My only issues are with the manufacturer of the refrigerator.

Perfect part to fix fridge drain freezing up
This was a perfect fix for my Samsung fridge drain freezing up. I ended up having to cute a small part off of it because it was too long and wouldn’t fit down the drain all the way but other than that, it was very easy to install and the fridge has been working great ever since.

So far so good
Used this in a dual cooling Samsung refrigerator after the back panel was entirely frozen up. Took way longer to defrost everything than to put this in. Ironically, the Samsung tech had actually placed one of these on top of the previous one that comes with the refrigerator so it's obvious they know it's an issue and are failing to fix it correctly. It's been almost 2 months since I inserted this in the fridge and no signs of freezing up as of yet (knock on wood). Excellent little part for a large issue.

Didn't stop the freeze
This is a fix to the defective Samsung refrigerator however it did not work in fact it freezes the food even more so now. I've tried to fix this refrigerator because it is a good one but it raises all of my food and it's now become not worth it.

DIY OK HOPE IT WORKS
20009 Samsung RF265, for proficient DIY NOT BAD,watch video at least 2x, if u want to do on Saturday morning have a large cool box and about 3 bags of ice, a small cool box for you fresh foods and ice from your ice maker, a Bissell steamer to clear the ice from coils or you will break the insulated Styrofoam don't Rush, only 4 screws to remove fridge panel we are talking upper fridge not frozen section must remove 2 wire clips 2wire and 4 wire be gentle wires are small, when housing is removed drain tube at center will need thawing, use Bissell with angle tip takes a while to thaw tube, it will fell like no tube there ,then pour some water in, you will here water run in lower tray your done, tabs hanging down on new part need to be bent upwards for atight fit, you just saved a bunch of$ even if u bought a streamer if u are not use to DIY take pictures and take time will need patience

Works for me. Easy to install
I just watched a few YouTube videos on installation. If you're having iced up areas in your fridge this is what you need to replace in the Samsung Series I had. The hardest part is you need to defrost the refrigerator for several days before taking it apart. Other than that it's just removing a few things. Simple.
