I recently bought a new bluetooth headset for my work from home job. Turns out the application we use to make calls doesn’t like bluetooth very much. I kept randomly losing connection and having to open and close the application repeatedly throughout the day. I came across this usb dongle and wanted to see if it would help having something plugged directly into the computer rather than a wireless connection. At first, it didn’t seem like it was going to work. The driver installed on its own, but I couldn’t get my work computer to recognize the usb. The security measures on my work computer were just not having it. But after I couldn’t get it to connect initially, I left everything plugged in, turned off the headset, and went to bed. By the time I woke up the next day and logged in, I decided to try one last time. Low and behold, the usb lit up blue and everything has been working wonderfully since. If you are having issues with your computer or device recognizing the dongle, try to let it marinate overnight before sending it back lol

Gonna say first off that I'm no IT expert, had to have my husband help with a lot of stuff related to this. I can't really say it's "plug and play" because it worked ok at first, but do not - DO NOT - take it out and move to another device, it will confused the ever-loving crap outta your computer. I assumed it was plug-and-play, because so many things are, but as the title suggests - this is an adapter, not a paired dongle. Paired dongles are plug-and-play, adapters are not. So that was a whole nightmare, messing with drivers and deleting registered devices (because somehow this wound up with duplicates that were confusing each other in my system???). And I still occasionally just randomly get connection issues. I got this specifically to use with a bluetooth game controller, but sometimes it just loses connection and sometimes when I turn it on it just won't connect. Problem is I'm not techie enough to know if it's the adapter, the drivers, my PC, or my controller... but given half those options are for this product, I'm docking a star for just the headache I've had. If you're more tech-savvy, you might not have any issues. Could just be me, but this is my experience.

Heaven forbid you get more than 10 ft away from your computer or whatever you have it paired to. Because the audio just goes to complete crap after that. Now if I have My headphones pair to my smartwatch It works just fine, in fact I can leave my smartwatch in the house on the charger and take the trash out which is good 150 ft away and have no loss of audio. But with this thing plugged into my computer I can barely make it 10 ft away before it's starts distorting, Heck sometimes you when I'm sitting right in front of my computer watching a video it just starts randomly distorting like a wired headset shorting out. But these are wireless Bluetooth. The headphones work great on everything except for this device. Yeah it's easy 😾to do install but the range sucks like it's got no power. I can't even get it to do voice recognition out of my computer. And it randomly stops working to where I have to unplug it from my computer and then plug it back in. Don't waste your money, buy a different one. I bought a new one. It's a TP Link brand, It works so much better than this pile of trash. This one is a complete waste of money.

I use this dongle daily and it works perfectly. It's very cheap, sits at the back of my PC and does what it needs to do. There are a lot of expensive bluetooth dongles out there but this one does the job for less. Works perfect with Windows 10 or 11 which is what i use it with and I have found it to be compatible with jabra and apple headphones. Connects nicely, haven't had any connection issues ever.
