I have a singer heavy duty machine and the the thread continued to bird nest even after cleaning, new needle. The bobbin case was the culprit. This purchase solved the problem.

Sewing machine part
This did not work for me.I bought one with points from my credit card. The package was lost.I bought the 2nd one with $$$ and it did not work out.So, I lost $10 worth of points and $10 cash!!!!

Perfect match for my machine
I have. a Singer S3342. After re-tensioning the bobbin case for a double needle it wouldn't go back to normal, so I got this new one and it's a perfect fit, exact match, only with yellow paint on a screw instead of white, making it wasy to tell my two cases apart. Easy 5 stars
