vAv YAKEDA Tactical Vest Outdoor Ultra-Light Breathable Training Airsoft Vest Adjustable for Adults

First of all let me say that this is the first tactical vest I have ever bought so I am not able to compare it feature by feature to other models or brands. I am sure that there are tactical vests that are stronger, last longer, have more features, and fit better than this one. But I am very pleasantly surprised by this product. It looks pretty good quality out of the box. It has three pockets for AR 15 mags. I was able to fit 3-6 PMAGs. The other pockets for pistol mags (three of them on the left side) support 15-17 round Glock mags and my G19 fits perfectly in the pistol holster with some room to spare so G17 and similar pistols should fit too. Next to the pistol holster there is another mag pouch which if you fold the flap in you can fit a Glock happy stick (30+ rounds). I am a big guy, waist about 44 inches, and the vest adjusts perfectly. A word of caution; take off the belt and then adjust the width of the vest to fit you. Then adjust the belt to your waist and put together again if you wish. Otherwise the belt, which comes from the factory pretty small, will prevent the vest to fit you if you are on the heavy side. I wonder if this is what has happened to others who had problems with the fitting. It did happen to me and I obviously initially freaked out. Then I figured it out. Like others have said, no instructions, so relax, grab a beer, and take your time if you get stuck (which you may not since it was a breeze after I figured out the belt issue). The vest has some internal compartments and has other pouches and pockets to put in more stuff if you want, both on the vest as well as on the belt. The shotgun shells holder that some cannot find is inside the pocket so you can remove the "Yakeda" patch and replace it with it if you wish. Fit was pretty comfortable as the vest is light and does not make you hot. It carries the weight of all your stuff pretty well and it feels well balanced. Has a MOLLE system on the back of the vest if you have any use for it. Although it looks well made I suppose it could have been made stronger so for that I am giving it 4/5 for durability. Like others have said, the front zipper seems to be one of the potential weak points so be careful and patient with it. So, of course, for the price I think it is a great product, but I would say that even for a slightly higher price you would still get a lot of good stuff, at least more than what I expected.

Well made, great value for the price, plenty of compartments, and easy to adjust

I recieved this chest rig yesterday, so I cant speak to long term durability, but it looks and feels well made. At the time of this review I paid $46.The rig itself is light weight but sturdy, and was extremely easy to snug up to fit my comfortably (I'm 5'7", about 150lbs.) I dont think the chest rig would get much tighter if you are smaller than that, but there is ample room for the bigger guys/gals.The reason for the 4 stars is the shoulder straps. I expected this having read previous reviews, but they are just velcro - to tighten, you fold the fabric and stick the velcro down. This is perfectly comfortable, to my surprise, but my problem is that once loaded full of gear and the weight that comes with, the straps want to come loose. I dont believe if you were physically active they would stay in place. I will probably end up sewing the straps where I want them and that should fix it.Other than that, it's great! 3 straps on each side for tightening/loosening.Magazine pouches fit 2 AR mags each, for a total of 6 AR mags. Although slightly tight, not so tight that it would be an issue to draw.There are four more pistol magazine pouches, three on the chest, one on the holster.The holster is secured with swiveling straps along with velcro to adjust the angle of the draw, aswell as a retention strap.Pocket on the right side of chest has six slots of shot shells. MOLLE attachment on the back fit my knife perfectly.All in all very satisfied with this chest rig!~ Matt

Yakeda tactical vest...with duty belt...fully equipped. It is perfect guys. Well made, affordable, and greatly equipped.Buy it! I love it....but hope it's never needed.

I will start off by saying this is a very, very good vest. With its durability and adjustments it fits very comfortably. I'm 6' 4'' with a few extra pounds and it took me about 20 minutes to adjust everything to fit comfortably and securely for when it's needed. The only issue I had because of my tall size, were the two lower middle rear straps attached to the belt in back (which I left detached ) so that the belt fit as it should., and that the vest fit as it should because the back portion sits a bit higher. After all is said and done, I'm very happy with it. Well worth the money.

Very comfortable to wear, easy to put on and weight distribution of gear

I bought this vest because it had a lot of pockets and seemed way more practical than a regular plate carrier for airsoft. The pockets on this vest fits m4 mags perfectly snug, but the pistol mag holder is extremely tight even for small mags. Another complaint about this vest is the zipper, the zipper closer to the top has lost a couple notches and can no longer zip all the way up properly.

This tactical vest is better than I expected. Very good value for the price. It has a good weight to it so it doesn’t feel cheap. It has plenty of pockets and a holster. It’s comfortable enough to wear for normal activity like partying, dancing and bar hopping. It was perfect for my Bane cosplay!
