Looks and feels very nice. It's sturdy and as long as you are defending from everyday common criminals it should keep them out. Good value and has good security features. Don't waste money on Master locks as they all open with a master key which are easy to get and easily picked by novice pickers. Abus locks are in another category, the kind that actually keep unauthorized people at bay.

No lock will prevent theft. But a good lock will slow the thieves down. Marine grade spring loaded.

I bought and have used outdoor looks and this one (although small) faired so much better than any other outdoor lock. I used it for 2 years outside in the rain and sun in Corpus Christi so I am very impressed.

This is a great little dimple lock for a locker! Works well considering my locker at work is at a loading dock where a lot moisture comes in. The only thing I would change about this lock is the locking mechanism, as it is lever locking and not ball bearing which means it can be shimmed which is the only reason I’m giving it a 4 star rating. The next size up would be the 75/40 which is ball bearing which is great but a little to big/heavier than I wanted it to be, but all that aside the lock seems to be well made and I’m happy with it!

The hard part about buying a lock for a tight location (front latches on a Roam storage box) is determining the dimensions the lock needs to be so you can install it, then latch it. So, investigate good lock company websites and look up lock specifications. Then figure out that the lock model number includes the diameter of the hasp (?) in millimeters. So, you kind of want to look at the metric spec sheet, not the Imperial (English) spec sheet. Go from there. I bought 3 sets of locks before figuring this out! This is a good, though pricey, lock for my Roam storage box used for camping.

The lock has security pins inside and has a very tiny keyway. These features both help in making a safer lock. That being said it is a small padlock and is not intended for heavy duty applications.

I think the picture is a little bit misleading as the lock is quite small. That being said however, this is an excellent lock, it's perfect for those looking to get into picking dimple locks as this is one!

A highly restrictive dimple core with security pins & ball-bearing locking mechanism make this a good value for small-size application.
