Ordered 2 of these bracket/housings. I say 50/50 because 1 of 2 seemed to be used or older hardware that the other. The one that seemed used had silver clips, the rubber grommet it smaller in width, and hard to get both side bolts in. The 2nd had gold clips that were tighter and fit good, rubber grommet fit perfect and was wider, all screws and bolts went in easy. Just weird that got 2 of same thing but they had little differences. Nice product though. Would buy again.

I bought two of these for my two ebikes and installing the headlight was the easy part in my opinion, yes it does not come with instructions, but you use the pins to secure the headlight into the housing (frame) at 4 different points, basically you put one side of the clip in the lip and slide the other end underneath of the lip 12, 3, 6, 9 o'clock positions so it can apply pressure evenly to the headlight, against the headlight housing (frame) thus holding int place. Just YouTube it and you will find videos on how, the only reason I can't give 5 is because one of them came with some scratches up on the outside, and the other one, the screw holes to, "seal" the hosing, on the bottom don't line up so one of my ebike the headlight is not "sealed" evenly across, and one housing is scratched up, But I don't plan on using my ebike in inclement weather so it still meets my needs, and would still recommend to friends if they were looking for a headlight housing for their eBike.

Its a great bucket. Perfect fitting for aftermarket lights, although I did have to cut the rear wire hole larger in order to get all of my plugs to fit. I had to reference the review pictures in order to figure out how to use the clips because there were NO installation instructions. Once I did get them on everything else was a breeze. Great product but be sure to come back and look at others pictures and advice on how to make it easy on yourself.

Worst worst light housing and investment everrrrr...menn the guy who designed this needs to be fired those clips are wayyy small compared to the ones i see in other light housings install.

I was originally going to return it for the reasons I disliked it but I decided to keep it and put in the extra work to make it work for my 1983 Honda Magna. It fit the forks good but the bucket was pretty shallow and only fit the light and none of the actual wires like the previous bucket did. I assumed it would at least fit the plug of the light but not even that could sit inside. The brackets don't exactly fit the bucket either so as you tighten them down they dig in and scratch the paint. Since the bucket didn't fit any of the wires I had to get a little creative on the wiring but it was hard to find a bigger bucket to replace it with. One of the brackets wasn't painted very well either, you wouldn't notice unless you really looked at it up close so it wasn't as big a problem. One thing though is it could really use a set of instructions for the clips it comes with. I think someone posted a review with pictures and that helped. Getting the light level and centered in the bucket took a few tries as well. It looks slick and great on the bike. I wish the bolts were all black too like the bucket but I could just paint it so it's not a big deal but is an after thought.

Did a front end swap on my bike and needed a lower profile bucket for the headlight. I came across this because it had the matte effect I wanted and seemed to be pretty solid. There are only two small complaints I have. The two screw supplies aren’t coated well so they started to rust after a single bike wash. No biggie. The tabs that are used to thread into are a little off, so had to tweak those a bit to get the bucket shut. Other than the mounting brackets to the forks being garbage and shouldn’t be used, the bucket is really nice and I’m pleased with it.

Just installed this bracket on my 1990 BMW K75. Easy to install & comes with all the parts required to install a 7” headlight. Would recommend to find a better way to secure your headlight inside of the housing The clips provided work, but could use something to lock it in place.

I am not going to ding this product for the cheap quality because you get what you pay for. I needed something quick and inexpensive so that is what I got. The metal is very thin and the paint is like tissue paper and just as delicate. I ended up putting a new coat of paint when I had to remove it. The tabs that attach the front ring are way too thin and flexible. My bike has a bunch of cables going into my headlight assembly so I had to enlarge the hole and added some vacuum line to protect the cables. My gripe comes from the fact that it does not hold a 5-3/4" light assembly. Even with all the cables, Mt headlight moves all around. You also have no way of adjusting it because there is no positive control of the headlight. I had to shove another piece of vacuum tub. Between the light and housing to keep it in place. I have a Suzuki Volusia so I knew the fork clamps would not fit, but I would not have used them with how thin they are and nothing was included to protect the metal on metal contact. I figured I would have to use my stock bracket so I ended up drilling holes in the housing to use it. It was trial and error getting it to work since that was the only way to adjust where the beam hits. I will be replacing this at my earliest opportunity.

Lights supper bright used it for my motorcycle. Highly recomend and esys plug in and play wireing

holds the headlight okay, but the bracket to secure the headlight to the forks is garbage. also had to modify the retaining clips to hold the headlight to the shroud. rear housing also came with a dent in it. save your money and buy something higher quality.

I thought everyone else leaving reviews was just incompitent, but surely enough i found myself in the same boat. Clips are nearly impossible to get on at first. Folliw the reviewer's picture and give em an upvote for their service. Dont try doing it with your hands or fingers, put one pointy end in first, press the tab part down, then grab the other pointy bit with pliers and push it in with that, youll figurr it out eventually. Overall cool looking bucket

Luckily I purchased a more quality one off of Amazon just in time for this one to fall apart. It held on by a single screw on my last ride. It doesn’t have enough screws to keep things tightly in place and after installing the one I just purchased I now see just how poor quality this one is. There are better ones on Amazon than this so I’d pass on this one if I were you.
