And the Winner Is Ultex 1.14 Tortex 1.14 close second
I tried each pick on my acoustic guitar even recording each one picking and strumming to then put into a spectroanalyzer to see which frequencies were dominating the blend and I did pay attention to the change of volume when comparing the two. I found that I liked the Ultex 1.14 and Tortex 1.14 the most and when comparing the two immediately I noticed more defined upper mids on the Ultex and that was proven when I looked at the spectroanalyzer and found that the 3-6khz range had more volume even when both recordings were at the same general volume level. Overall the Tortex was great as well but it lacked the little extra sweetness the ultex sharp provide but the Tortex was easier to grip but not that different. Side note: I found that 1.14mm picks are the sweet spot where it's not too stiff nor too thin leading to that annoying snappy sound that adds muddiness to your sound. I could see someone liking the snappiness of lower thickness picks as it gives you better note separation when playing fast when you're still new to playing and need to hold the pick hard to keep it from going out of place.

Solid Mix
As a new guitar player, I just needed some picks on deck and I don't have the expertise or experience to know any preferences. This pack includes a solid mix of picks - from medium and smooth to heavy, some with added grip, some smaller for faster picking, etc. I'm able to test out multiple styles of picks to see what I like and don't like, and they're all pretty solid options and quality Dunlop picks.

Nice selection of picks.
It's a nice selection of picks that lets you experiment with the various grips surface of the Dunlop pick line, along with the different sounds the different materials make. They are definitely more on the medium side than heavy. Overall it's a nice little pick pack at a great price.
