A solid EXIT game.
I quite enjoy the EXIT games for the one-time play that they are. I'm not sure it's worth $15 for what is ultimately 1-2 hours of play, but they are challenging puzzles that generally make you think. Lots of fairy tale references in this one. The more escape games that you play, the more you recognize some of their little tricks and quirks.

So Much Fun
I love these EXIT games. This one was lots of fun with cute characters and great little puzzles. I have played other EXIT games and this was not my favorite, but still enjoyed it and do not regret having bought it. It is a good beginner game and also there were some very challenging riddles which kept it interesting. When playing these games for the first time there is a slight learning curve. After you have played one or two you will better know what to expect in terms of where to look for clues and Solutions. They are very tricky. With all the EXIT games in order to solve the riddles you have to think outside the box, but also sometimes inside the box. When I buy these games I get two of them. One for me and I have one sent to my daughter in another state. We play over FaceTime and have a blast. It usually takes us two evenings to finish. This type of game has provided a great opportunity for my daughter and I to still spend quality time together.I always look forward to purchasing our next set of games. The developers have done a great job of designing a mini escape room in a box.

Just plain fun
This is the third time playing one of these exit games. The first time we (2 people) actually felt frantic because we felt time pressured and looked at the clues too quickly. Then we opted for solving the puzzles without trying for hints. This time we had three players and everyone wanted control of the wheel, or the puzzle sheets. There's always a sense of time frustration lurking, giving the game an edgy feel. This puzzle for novice level was simpler than the others with three stars. Still we managed to mangle one of the puzzles with our incorrect folding skills. And it was fun using some drawing skills as we all did some funky ones and laughed at them. And always remember the box can be part of any puzzle, but in very different ways.We just enjoy them more as we play them, as some learning curve factors in for puzzle styles. It's hard to believe the creative story line, the puzzles to solve (a great mix of obvious to nah, never gonna get that), and unique items comes in such a small box. Just plain fun for two to three hours if you like puzzles, a challenge, and cooperative gaming.

Fun for 2 players (not as much for 4)
We purchased this game to use for four players (it says 1-4), but only one person can really be doing anything at a time. One more person can read the "story" out loud. But if you have four people, some of you are just sitting there with nothing to do. The code wheel is fun, if a bit simplistic. We have purchased other escape room games we liked better. We haven't tried others by this manufacturer to know if this is representative of them all.

Well thought out game
Most all EXIT gam,es are great family time games and they make you think. So go ahead start on easy level games and move up.

Got me hooked into the EXIT games
Super fun. A bit of a learning curve for a first timer for this style of game. Usually clues for the first step are obvious, so it felt guilty getting a 'low' score. But super fun

Decent intro to escape rooms for kids, but a bit long/boring
Generally, we enjoyed this as an intro to escape room games for a sharp 9-year old. The main complaint was that it ran a bit long. Some puzzles were challenging, others were a breeze, so decent balance there. Could have done with half the price and half the length. The story is pretty boring and basic. Kind of bland and includes some pointless busywork with the bonus cars which you use to build the characters in the story, but for no functional reason. Just OK... decent fun, but the kind of experience no one is eager to repeat due to it feeling like a bit of a grind.

Great Exit title to solve with older kids
This one had a wonderful story element, good puzzles that made sense, and lots of "crafty" ways to entertain older kids.
