Perfect replacement
The battery in my laptop was bulging as was pointed out by the Geeks at Best Buy. This battery was a replacement so I returned to Best Buy for them to install. I had not noticed the bulging so keep an eye on your laptop to avoid a problem. It works great.

Who knew that if you leave your laptop plugged in all the time charging you risk a swollen battery! Product worked great...

Battery Works - Pavilion Doesn't Like It
The battery was a direct fit. I had no issues installing the battery, but the HP Pavilion does not recognize it at boot up. It warns that the battery is counterfeit. The battery life is very good on my laptop. If it weren't for the Pavilion boot warning, I would have no issues.

New battery
I wasn't sure how this would work for my laptop, as I had read reviews from other buyers & there wasn't many compliments. Honestly, it's been great. It lasts for about 6 hours which is amazing

BEWARE!
Old battery was getting weak so got this and low and behold, as soon as the contacts touched the laptop, heard a slight spark, smelled electrical, put 2 screws in, won't start up, no charging indicator near plug, put old battery in and it's dead in the water. IT FRIED MY LAPTOP! fyi, you can't install it wrong, only goes in 1 way! Now I need to see who's going to be replacing my laptop.

perfect fit just wish where we live had a battery recycling program instead of the trash or at least an address to ship it to one
