Fixxxer Grip Frame Plug Fits Glock 43 (9mm)

This is a press-fit installation, unlike the plugs for larger frame Glocks that have "lanyard" hole for a button on the plug to "click" into. This plug relies solely on friction. It ended up about 1mm below the surface instead of flush-fit but actually it looks perfect, IMHO, for this smaller pistol.I had no problems with magazine insertion using both standard and extended magazines (1+ and 2+). Getting it out might be difficult if you decide you don't like it, offhand I can only think of drilling a small hole in the plug and using a punch to pull it out. this is NOT a bad thing again IMHO as a loose fitting plug would fall out with the shock of firing.This plug stayed in without moving after 50 rounds. If i find problems in the future, I will post an update, but for now...I can recommend it unreservedly.

I just recently got a Glock 43 and while practicing reloads, I noticed how the gap in the grip plug would "catch" the magazine and get in the way. I havetaran tactical extension mags (+2) and knew this grip plug would get in the way of the base pad pin so I grabbed my drill with my drill bit set. First, I HALFWAY (don't go all the way because it's DIFFICULT to remove) inserted the grip plug and then partially inserted the TT mag to see where the pin would make contact with the grip plug. I then used a thin sharpie to outline the pin onto the grip plug. Using this outline, I started with a 5/64" drill bit, then 7/64" and ended with a 9/64". Now the plug helps funnel in the magazine and doesn't get in the way of my new TT mag extensions. :) If this review helped you out, please like my youtube channel Lil Rice Muncher Gaming where I make videos on guns, videogames, and other stuff. This little piece fit perfectly in the grip of my Glock 43. It's small, so you'll need a hammer or something similar to get it in all the way, but it's perfect. My Glock 43 is actually an SS80 from Glockstore.com, so my weapon is proof that this product fits inside those as well. If having an open grip frame annoys you like it does me, this an excellent option to choose.

The G43 grip fills up with lint without it. It pops right in. I didn't lose any tactical advantage by plugging a hole I can't fit my finger in anyway. This also does not interfere with any +1 extensions.

Fits great, only thing to consider if you are going to put on a Taran Tactical mag extender, the piece that blocks the new plate from coming over will interfere with this plug. Im going to end up drilling a small hole in it so it doesnt interfere. The other thing to remember is if you put on grip tape before you install this, you arent getting it out without having to tear it apart. Not a huge deal, I just didnt think about it when I did it so maybe it will help someone else.

Great little item to fill in the opening. Was pleasantly surprised with the nice flush fit of this plug. It went in easy without any tools and stays put. One note is the taran tactical base plate's will not properly fit with this plug on the frame as the base plate's holding pin utilizes the open space to accommodate for the pin. I'd rather have a 9+1, so ended up removing the plug. Still this plug is an awesome low cost item.

Good cheap product that does what it's supposed to do. Fits my 43 perfect. My only complaint is with my Taran tactical base pads. The little locking pin on the base pad won't clear the grip plug. Easily solved with a drill or file though. My Vickers base pads don't have this issue and fit nice and snug. Other wise great product!

Noting fancy, but an effective way to protect from contaminants. Might sell better with more color options - People like to put some subtle bling on their sidearm, even if they're the only one to notice. That said, it is a valuable addition for a Glock.
