Not gonna lie - buying a third - party battery always feels kinda sketchy. Like, am I getting extra power or a tiny plastic grenade? But I took the risk, and I’m glad I did. I picked up this 2-pack for my Canon Rebel T1i because my original battery was running on hopes and memories. These popped right into the camera, charged fine, and worked exactly like OEM, with no weird warnings or janky behavior. Battery Life: Just as good as the original, if not a little better in hot conditions. I shot a full afternoon car show on one battery and still had juice left. That’s with lots of chimping and bursts. Charging: The included charger works well and doesn’t overheat. I was fully expecting the charger to feel like a cheap toy, and it kinda does it's like 2$ if you think about the price of these batteries XD USB-powered too, which is actually way more convenient than Canon’s original wall brick. I CAN CHARGE THEM ON THE GO YASSSSSSSSSSS Compatibility: No issues with the T1i recognizing the battery. No errors, no “non-canon battery” messages - just pop in and go. 💰 Value: You’re getting two batteries + a charger for less than the cost of one Canon battery. That’s a no-brainer if you shoot a lot or need spares for on-the-go. Bottom Line: They’re cheap, they work, and they didn’t explode. If you’re rocking an older Canon DSLR like the T1i, this is the easiest upgrade you can make. Now I can shoot all day without charging mid-shoot. Solid buy. Didn’t Explode. 10/10.
