This product is nailed into the foot of the chair so it does not come off when moving them like the adhesive ones do. Not sure on durability since only just put them on.

I like that they were easy to install and seem to be pretty durable, meaning the felt pads will last longer than the self adhesive type.

We tried PTFE (aka teflon). They work fine on wood floors, but not on travertine. They made a terrible scratching sound on the stone floor. We previously tried ordinary (soft) felt pads in all sorts of configurations. The sharp edges of the stone tiles ripped the soft felt pads right off of their attachment. When this company's PTFE glides didn't work for us, the company reached out to us, exchanged several email messages to point us in the right direction, and these were the result. The felt is much denser than the ordinary felt pads and the felt is attached to the nail-on support in a much more durable fashion. Very satisfied customers here.

They work perfectly on my chairs!! The noise in minimal now!!

For installing 10 nails under a table base, I had 5 others bend that were unusable.

Tried everything before finding these nail-in pads. Lucky for us our chair legs had pre-drilled holes at the bottom of each leg. The pads are holding in place and not scratching and that’s for 6 chairs or 24 legs. Color is a dark brown.

These seem like they will be very sturdy. The felt is soft enough to protect the floor but not so soft that it will soon fall apart. The pads were the expected colour and size and were easy to install in a drilled pilot hole with a rubber hammer.
