I love these coasters, they actually soak up the sweat left by cups, they have a base that protects the furniture and they are attractive.

I have these all around the house to protect the wood furniture from beverage glass rings. They are pretty and work great!

I have bought so many different sets of coasters, trying to find some that are absorbent stone. Cloth ones often get saturated with condensation, and the other stone ones I've tried collect a puddle of water on them, rather than absorbing the condensation. These work well!
