I really like the 3 M Brand, and this is so much better than their basic sandpaper. It doesn't rip right away and it gives a good clean sand with 220 grit. I bought the 20 sheets package because it is a good value compared to the other sizes available. Buying the 20 sheets size package is also much less expensive than the local big box hardware store. I would highly recommend this product to others!

I'm doing a DIY job on refinishing a P-Bass and converting it to Fretless. What began as a $75 Squire has evolved into a really fun project. I used the heat gun that I'd purchased from Amazon and a sharp putty knife to remove all of the finish and red paint. So I'm looking at this body and the edges are just not rolled properly. Today I get this purple 3M 220 grit sandpaper and man, this stuff is amazing!It WON'T clog! I tear off a piece about half inch and I'm rolling the edges. It just kept going and going. Best paper I have ever used. Now I want to talk about value: sure, you could buy cheaper sandpaper but how much of that paper will you blow through? In any DIY project, there are phases where you might be able to cut corners but on this project, no. I began with a full sheet of this sandpaper. Rolled all of the edges, top and bottom and then level sanded the entire top and bottom of the body. I still have half a sheet of paper left.Now this paper just goes and goes and my bad shoulder gave out before this 3M Sandpaper. I'm not even kidding. I don't get anything for doing this review except a high quality job. I suspect this pack of Purple 220 grit will last me a long time. There are others out there, no doubt, but this 3M sandpaper and to be sure, all 3M wet or dry, is the best Value! It's made in Canada and the No-Slip backing is Incredible. You can pull this paper until the cows come home and it will not slip. I'm in between some tiny fills on the body and I had to write this review. Get this paper if you truly want the best quality and the best Value. Thank you for reading my review.

Don't waste money on some unbranded sandpapers, the 3M sandpapers are always better than any others with very little price difference.

I'm painting the doors and baseboards in my home. Sanding 26 doors makes a lot of dust, so I chose to purchase a better quality sand paper and use it for wet sanding. No dust! This stuff is great. One sheet, cut into 9 pieces (folded) will last for one interior door, and the full door frame before I need to get a new sheet. The 220 grit is best for the doors as they have a wood grain texture and light sanding with 220 grit won't damage it. The 180 grit is what I've been using for the door frames and baseboards and it holds up great. It's just pricey (minus one star) for how many you get.

Bought this for my husband and he was pleased with the price and quality of the product.

I love these 3M sanding sheets; they are very convenient to use for several reasons:1) they can be cut to any size needed, including small and irregular surfaces. 2)they can be folding and the backing causes the 2 surfaces to hold well, so that if you turn the folded sheet over to send, the pieces stay together. 3) these sheets resist caking, where the sanded material adheres to the surface. Eventually the sheet will fill up and coat, but it takes quite a bit of use with a piece for that to happen. These are the only sanding sheets and are available in a variety of grits. Excellent product.

I've been using this for final sanding, leaves surface clean and scratch free. I've also used this paper for light sanding between poly coats. This paper doesn't clog up like others I've used during this process. Very satisfied.
