Excellent Quality & Easy To Swallow... The Price Might Not Be Though
These are expensive. Even though you are getting 100 Billion good bacteria, at £55.95 for 30 capsules (at the time of writing - Dec 2020) they are not on the cheaper side of these sort of supplements. They are supplied in a little tub and there is no child safe lid. They only need to be kept under 25 Celsius, so according to the tub there is no need for them to go in the fridge. However the Renew Life website does recommend storing probiotics in the fridge if you can to help keep out moisture so that's what I'll be doing. The capsules themselves are very well made and there is an odd little piece of plastic in the tub (see my photos) which I'm guessing is to do with keeping moisture out? When initially taken there is a pleasant lemon taste when you pop one into the mouth before swallowing and there is no after taste once swallowed.Much has been written about whether these good probiotic bacteria can survive the stomach acid on their way to the intestines so as with most of these probiotics on the market there is always a sense of blind faith that they will make it. However after doing some research, Renew Life are using the Lactobacillus species which is considered resistant to acid so that bodes well and I guess with 100 billion you'd hope that some would make it through! As for feeling any better? Well it's hard to tell. I guess I hope they do there their thing over time.So if the price doesn't put you off then these are a pleasant tasting, easy to swallow, acid resistant, bacteria packed supplement.

fine but the price......
I have been using this product for nearly a month now. And to be honest I cant say I have seen any difference in myself. Not to say that they don't work, its always hard to really know the benefits of a supplement with out your own lab. The premise of friendly bacteria is they are the good organisms in your gut and help with over all health. This supplement has billions in each serving. My main gripe for only giving 3 stars, at the time of writing this supplement costs £55 for a months supply. For £55 for 30 days I want to see and fee results. I believe in supplements and take various ones every day, some for health, some for joints, some for my weight training and exercise. I have even taken positive bacteria supplements before, but I got them from a well known high street health shop for about £15.TO be clear, I am not saying these don't work, but I also cant say that they do much either. Combine this with a £55 price tag and I just cant positively promote this item very much. If you have an extreme chronic stomach condition and you have tired everything else, then sure, give this a go. If you are just looking for some day to day health support and trying to look after yourself long term, find one of the much, much cheaper ones available on Amazon (You can get them by searching for Friendly bacteria capsules and can find an abundance of them for around £15ish+/-)

Pricey in the long term
There is no doubt that probiotics are very important elements for a healthy digestive system. Sometimes we might fail to get the needed probiotics from foods and other times we just don't have enough to maintain the digestive system. This might happen, among other reasons, due to anti-biotic treatment which usually doesn't distinguish between good and bad bacteria. So yeah, probiotics are definitely a good addition to a healthy lifestyle, but the only issue with them is that if you stop taking them, they start decreasing and might leave your digestive system a week after you stop taking the supplement. That means that in order to maintain a convenient count, probiotics should be taken on a daily basis. This supplement from RenewLife is way more than convenient and suitable to ensure a healthy digestive system. With 100 Billion friendly bacteria, this supplement has the highest dosage I ever tried. It is easy to swallow, and results are probably immediate. However, over the long term, spending £55 a month to keep a convenient level of healthy bacteria is quite pricey, especially that we can easily live without additional probiotics most of the time. If the price isn't an issue over the long run then go for it. It is healthy, and recommended. If you see this as pricey though, then I wouldn't recommend it.

30 easy to swallow capsules
These have a very delicate lemon aroma but they don't taste of anything. They are capsules, which I find easier to swallow than tablets. These ones are a considered purchase and I've been trying others this year and none seemed to have made any difference to my stomach problems. I take Omeprazole daily for acid reflux but my doctor told me that they can be bad for women and may hasten osteoporosis, so I would like to find an alternative if possible, but no luck so far. I assume that these are the Rolls Royce of probiotics so if these don't help me then I need a completely different solution. There is a month's supply in the tub so I will update once I've finished the tub.Update 29.12.20: I have had a bit of reflux but nowhere near as much as normal and there has been quite a bit of over-indulgence over the past week, so for me these have helped but aren't the sole solution to keep me totally acid free, but then again maybe that isn't entirely possible. I do think that they are the best I've tried but they should be for that price.
