Is this supposed to work without the ring mount? Purchased for a stream light 2l-x and I can’t figure it out

For the 2L-X, you would need a ring mount. This mount is only for the picatinny rail mount light models. You remove the picatinny clamp which will expose two screw holes. The light mounts up directly to the Arisaka mount.

Will this work with the streamlight protac 2? I cant seem to get it to fit properly. The light extends past and covers the hex screws for mounting?

This mount will NOT work with the Streamlight ProTac series light. I purchased one based on all of the reviews saying it was compatible. Even with the tail cap removed from the light, it blocks the first KeyMod alum bolt. Had to return mine.

What’s the distance between the holes?

Doesn’t matter. It works with any M-Lok compatible rail and only with lights that use scout mounts (Surefire, Arisaka, Modlite).

Are these genuine Arisaka mounts? I don't see the milled logo in the picture provided.
