This was purchased for a friend. I have loved and use these prayers for a number of years now. Originally intended to be part of the Missal Revisions in 1998, subsequently rejected by Rome, it is wonderful to have them in printed form. They are based on the scripture readings assigned for each Sunday of the three-year lectionary cycle - much as can be found in the Italian language version of the Missal, not having been rejected b Rome!! Double standards! I use them as the concluding prayer for the General Intercessions or Prayer of the Faithful each week.

This is a small hardcover prayer book. It has simple but thematic prayers for the lectionary passages. I find the prayers helpful for a focus and not too complex, so one can make them their own, even add and subract if so moved. The prayers cover all periods through the Christian year and has prayers for each year, A, B, and C. Glad to have it as an inspirational prayer book.
