Professional Soot And Dirt Sponge - 1 Each

I purchased 3 of these sponges. Gave one to my sister, one to my housekeeper, and kept the third one. They work really great on everything that my 4 cats sit on, including the bedspread, cat trees, furniture, etc. Next year, I am going to give them as Christmas presents to some of my friends who have pets (works equally great on dog hair as well).

I bought 3 of these type of sponges from Amazon. They're all pretty much useless. I tried to remove soot from a candle (used during Storm Sandy) in a bathroom with glossy paint on walls and ceiling. It removed about 20%. The rest it just smeared. Did better using Krud Kutter and a "scrungie" (rough type of sponge used for pots/pans).

Didn't work for me.

I ordered this sponge to clean a cream colored upholstered chair. I'd read a tip online that said it could work. It didn't do a thing for the chair but I guess it could work for other applications.

Our drapes are sheer with attached panels. The panels are not washable. This Dirt Sponge removed a lot of dirt that even the the vacuum did not get out. I'm pleased with it.

Use this sponge DRY to wiped dog hair off carpeting & fabric. Especially useful on stairs and hard to reach places. Works on all fabric sofas and car interiors too! Works amazingly well. You'll be shocked!

Didn't clean soot on the wall from a pellet stove.

This sponge can tackle many thorny cleaning jobs, but I find it most useful for keeping lamp shades looking sharp. This is the best price I've found on the sponge, too.
