Ziploc Container, Medium Rectangle, 1.5 Cups, 4 Count (Pack of 1)

This is the second or third time I purchased these 1.8-cup Ziploc containers, and I much prefer them over other brands -- e.g., "Gxxx". They serve a multitude of purposes and are an ideal depth for all sorts of foods. I have used them in the refrigerator, freezer and dishwaster, including the lids, and they stack perfectly. They have a nice feature of a one-snap lid. I don't know about other dishwashers (mine is a Miele), but I learned that if I angle the containers in the top rack, the underside (curled) portion will not fill up with water. I also place the lids flush with the sides of the top rack, and by that method, they have never bent. I highly recommend this product and this brand, and their similar containers in different sizes and shapes.

These modular boxes are one component of a terrific system. Two tiny boxes sit tidily on one medium-sized box. Two mediums sit neatly on one larger square box. This creates much more room in fridge or freezer because there is little wasted space. And, they stack and store in a similar, very compact manner, taking less room than round containers. Yes, the slender rectangles aren't as perfect for left-over tomatoes as they are for string beans. But I love the system and just put the tomatoes in a few older round containers I saved.

*UPDATE: Reduced rating to 4 stars. I have issues with these getting cracks in them. They are the perfect size, and even with the crack I can reuse them to put chips in my son's lunchbox, but they are definitely not the sturdiest container out there. Luckily, when they become unusable, they are #5 plastic, so I can recycle them.* *** On Amazon, this is overpriced, but I have not been able to find this product locally, so caved and ordered them. I use them for chips in my son's lunchbox: its tall and narrow profile is perfect, and the rigidity keeps the chips from getting broken.

These containers are not as sturdy as other brands. The lids do not close easily. Very disappointed with them.

Was looking to replace similar product and these fit the bill.

These Ziploc 1.5 Cup containers are my favorite freezer containers for meal prep and then freezing. The food stays fresh and just the right amount of food for a one serving meal main dish. And these containers are long lasting.

All ziploc containers have been redesigned and the plastic used is half the strength of prior containers. Breaks easily, not dish washer safe anymore. New shape means they don't stack with old ziploc containers. Expensive.
