Its like being back at school.
This review is based on the 1.20m x 0.9m Magnetic Glass Whiteboard. Unlike the standard whiteboard, this came with a glass fixing kit, so there is need to worry about this item only being supported by two flimsy picture hooks. Once installed, it is solidly held in place and is not going to shift at all. Installation is somewhat tricky as you have to drill all four holes exactly in the right place, as there is no room for error or adjustment. The suppliers do try to assist with this task by supplying a template strip with the horizontal and vertical holes marked out on it. This seemed like a good idea at the time, but the flexibility of the paper strip didn't fill me with confidence, so I used a long spirit level instead. On another note, this 6mm glass is exceptionally heavy and awkward to manoeuvre (20 Kg), and does require two people to support and install the screws. I struggled on my own and succeeded albeit, with difficulty, but the instructions do recommend that three people were required for installation. And lastly, unlike the standard whiteboard, this model "Does Not" come with any pens, but strangely enough, they do supply an eraser! According to other users, you have to use special Glass Pens, which are those ones that folks use to write colourful menus on street blackboards. Apparently, this is supposed to be a magnetic board, and there was a grey panel behind the glass, but I have a feeling that I've been supplied the wrong item as i can get any fridge magnets to stick to it. Or that it could be that due to the distance between the glass and back panel, I need a stronger magnet. Overall, it does serve its purpose and my office does now resemble an office, but i dont like the way that it reminds me of my old school days. At least its behind me, so i dont have to look at it all the time.

Nice little board
Ideal little board for writing notes etc on, I use it for writing darts scores on, the pen is decent quality and wipes off well with the erasure on the pen.

A4 size, magnetic useless
It's a good size for task list or doodling but the magnetic strip is useless, it can't hold the weight of the board and will fall off

It's big.
I like big, especially when it comes to a whiteboard.Only just got it on the wall today. When it arrived, in a box, delivered by two men from the back of a decent size van, and they dropped it into my lounge I thought how the flippidy-do am I going to get that monster up two flights of stairs and into my study (spare bedroom), unpacked and onto my wall.I had measured, looked for something right in the ball-park and settled on this.I'm glad I did. it is six feet long by four feet high, that's twenty-four square feet of glass whiteboard.I did it myself. However, this is not DIY. Get a friend to help (or two) and make sure one of you has a clue what to do.Did I mention it's big? It is.BIG.
