bought this mainly for pc gaming, didn't want to drop a whole ton of money on a controller and figured i could find one that looked, felt, and performed decently without breaking the bank. i've only had it for a few days now, but so far it's been amazing considering the price. i haven't used many controllers so i can't really say when it comes to deadzones and etc, but as an average dude i think the controller does its job perfectly fine. it comes with a super long micro-usb cable (like 10ft i think) and feels pretty solid build wise. the programmable buttons on the back are super easy to setup and are perfect for games that have a sprint button so you can hold it down while using both joysticks. the d pad feels pretty firm but has a little wobble if you move it around, but not enough to the point i would consider it a problem. coming from a logitech f310 the joysticks were a lot smaller than i expected but i got used to it pretty quick, not sure if it's a standard xbox controller design thing since i've never owned one before. i literally looked through every possible controller i could find on amazon and i kept finding mixed reviews or absurd prices before finally deciding on this one with much apprehension. i understand the struggle of finding a good controller for a reasonable price, and i honestly just wanted to leave a review to help people who were in the same situation i was. if the controller starts acting up i'll be back to update my review, if not (hopefully) you'll never see me again and should definitely pick this up

I got the controller about 5 months ago and it worked great up until recently. It just started to act up and it now stopped working. I contacted customer support and within an hour they emailed me back. Provided proof of purchase and by the next day they are shipping me out a new controller. I was quite impressed with how quickly they responded! Great customer support!

I'm a Division 1/Elite division FIFA player both on Xbox and PC, so naturally I use a Xbox controller a LOT for FIFA. Take my review however you want to....but for a product that is designed for longevity, as most XBOX controllers are known for, for some reason after heavy use both the LB1 and RB1 and left trigger on this controller started to noticeably get worse over time, to the point that after a gaming session around May this year the RB1 stayed pressed down permanently, and I know how to open and fix this issue myself, and even then after opening the controller and trying to manually fix the pressed down button, it still wasn't working properly... I am no means a player who breaks controllers or throws his controllers, so this outcome came exclusively from playing actively 3-4 hours a day with this controller from like September 2022 up until May 2023 when most of the aforementioned buttons started to give out... so take that however you want. If you're not a sweatlord like me playing a game that requires a lot of input, flicks and ocasional button mashing, this controller will serve it's purpose for you in the long run. But if you play intensive games that require a lot of usage from your controller, eventually, this guy sort of gives out within a year or half a year or so... maybe look for a literal XBOX controller bought directly from Microsoft...I bought one around April this year and it looks good as new, while this PowerA after a few months had noticeable wear and tear... It's a good budget Xbox controller, just be aware it may not last a whole year or a bit less, depending on your usage, but it IS serviceable and usable. This review in no shape or form is to say that it's BAD, just be aware that it might not last a whole year...or it can if you're very careful with it and don't play sweaty games like me lmao

Very good products. Still works after 3,5 years. It started drifting, but I disassembled it, blew thru it, cleaned it up, assembled, and it is like new. Very sturdy and good build quality too. I am very happy with this product.

I tried. I figured if I'm spending 60 dollars on a controller from Microsoft that breaks after 3-4 months of use, I might as well buy cheap and keep a rotation of controllers handy. I purchased 2 controllers from Power A via Amazon, one to play, one to store. After one week of play the first controller started having this problem where the actuator for the left stick gets partially stuck half way between on and off. So I returned it and started playing with the other I ordered while I waited for the replacement to arrive. That was about 3 weeks ago. Last night my replacement left stick wouldn't recognize pushing right on it. Okay, a little quick to break a stick...But no biggie, we've got that replacement. Switched it out last night, and this morning, this controller that was replaced for having a left trigger that just couldn't stop- is having the same issue that the first one had. So I'm 3 controllers deep and it's been like a month. I am convinced wholeheartedly that this company is not the company I was told they would be. I tried to be optimistic, but this is straight embarrassing levels of cheap. I do not recommend. UPDATE: I have now received in total 5 controllers. The most recent of the 5 were the 2 I just received on 25MAR23 Saturday afternoon around 3 pm. It is now 27MAR23 Monday evening and the "Desert Camo" controller has (as expected because of the first two) broken in the very same manner. Left trigger will not stop activating. That's what your money is worth to this company literally 5 times over now. A day and a half. Also noted they've been sending me the controllers from the same lot numbers, so I assume there's just a whole lot series out in inventory that they are aware of being defective but continue to push to consumers. This company at face value has terrible business practices and I hope to contact a proper authority about these issues to ensure that information falls into the correct hands.

Well they honor the warranty, but that did not help me much. First one might have lasted a year, I toughed it out for a bit, then the second one went bad in months, quicker than the first. Maybe I just got really unlucky, it seems like everyone is making dirt cheap controllers no matter what you pay to me. Controller 1 had a damaged RB, useable but sometimes it would not connect, however both controllers experienced stick drift. The following was the real annoyance, the sticks and buttons would activate another, LT would trigger RT, right stick up trigged LT, how does this even happen and on both!

Having begun my gaming “career” with Pong in the mid-70’s (feel my pain), upright machines, almost every console that ever existed, and now as an eSports coach, I feel confident in providing a brief but glorious recommendation for this PowerA controller. Playing with a controller is no easy feat, especially on a PC where many controls have been culled to accommodate keyboard and mouse players. Fresh out of the box, the controller is a bit ridgid, but shortly thereafter they shift gears and become more pliable. The design and feel are almost the same as the Microsoft Wired Controller with tactile buttons and stick movements, but include a few, hidden extras. Extras come in the form of three programmable paddle buttons underneath, as well as a convenient roller-rocker volume adjustment (see pic) just between the D-pad and right stick. The volume adjustment makes the controller have a bit more value added. The grip feels silicon-based and adds stability to most butterfingers. Another brilliant addition is the Share button which allows you to capture video or screenshots of in-game play, but currently doesn’t have software established for PC players. (Some may consider this less than a bonus, but in my eyes, I bought it for the controller and speed of play.) The “dead zones” for many FPS games are really accurate, and I find myself enjoying this heavily in Call of Duty and Rocket League. One of the best features is that the cord is completely detachable. As such, the input is “break-away” and the USB-Micro B port is recessed and protected from snapping off in all directions, unlike the wireless Microsoft controller inputs. The USB chip inside is fast and responsive, cutting down on lag when you press triggers or press buttons. The triggers do tend to be a bit touchy, as only 1/10th of the way will fire a CX-9 or Sykov in a game like Call of Duty, but who really wants to not have that kind of access in the heat of battle on something like Shipment (inside CoD joke)? As for the volume issues others are experiencing, I have had no issues, but usually I am connected through a different port, so I cannot relate well here. I bought a controller to be… well, a controller, not an audio pass-through. A bit over the cost of the Microsoft wired at $40 compared to Microsoft’s $25 (MSRP), this controller is well-worth the purchase and highly-recommended.

ele é um pouco maior que o controle oficial do xbox, porém não é nada grotesco e quase não se nota a diferença. tem um pouco mais de rigidez, porém, eu gosto! tenho facilidade em quebrar o drift do controle. A cor é linda, porém achei que fosse um pouco mais escuro o roxo, veio super embalado e chegou com 3 dias. Em geral, não tem o quê reclamar (obs: não é possível conectar pilha, então se você não gosta de jogar com cabo, esse controle não é pra você). O controle cumpre com o que propõe, comprem sem medo!

I bought the controller since my previous pdp controller broke, only got it since it had the paddles on the back. I really like it, it's a mix of the pdp deluxe controller I had and the original xbox controller. Feels nice and strong, built with high quality materials and it has a nice long cable which helps a lot. What I dislike is the light for the mute button, you learn to live with it but id prefer it without it. I'd 100% recommend this controller, better than the original xbox controller and much cheaper than the elite series of xbox controllers. A fair middle ground.
