Disappointment
My son saved his money to buy his first Zoid. He waited patiently for it to come and couldn’t wait to put it together. He became very discouraged and frustrated when the pieces would not stay together. When he finally was able to assemble it (with help) the toy would wind up, but not move…huge disappointment.

Easy to put together, wind up & watch it move

Cool looking and easy for young kids to assemble
The only Zoids I don’t give 5 stars. The movement isn’t too smooth. So I give it 4.5 with rounds off to 5 on Amazon. Hasbro should have marketed and continued this product line.

Zoids are awesome
Zoids are back in America! This one is a purple stag beetle. It has a wind-up motor and the same sort of mechanics as other small windup Zoid insects you may have seen before. It has blades that swing out from the side of its shell, pretty cool!A warning, this version is not exactly the same as a very nearly identical model from Japan. Not sure why they seemed to make an entirely new set of molds instead of just reusing the Japanese ones.
