Incredibly Sticky
I used this to protect my central air insulation from UV light as it faces south. This tape should do the trick. It is incredibly sticky, so make sure you are placing it exactly where you want it as you will not be able to lift it up and try again.

A beast and major enemy of leaks. This is the real stuff guys!
I am a boatbuilder and use Butyl Calk on most deck hardware. It never lets me down. This stuff is a fine example.Yesterday night, I had to patch a cracked underground plastic pipe. Dug it visible, let it wash itself off a bit in the down pour (not the best job) and covered the break with a single wrap of tape. The drain pipe that was quickly filling my basement with water just about stopped leaking. I appled more wraps over the first and beside it, burried the pipe and we were headed back out of the rain. This stuff really does the job.

Does not stick well with rubber
Used to seal a torn rubber. Works OK if it's dry, but if it rains and gets wet - the tape will loosen up and you have to replace the tape.
