I bought this to replace a scale that timed out after 30sec and used non-rechargeable button cells. This one is stays on for 4 minutes and takes rechargeable AA batteries, much more convenient! Very happy with this scale :)

Great, very happy. The best thing for me is it doesn't time out in 30 seconds. I can take my time without worrying about loosing my weight when brewing pour over.

I bought my Escali scale in January of 2008, and have used it multiple times every day since. A few weeks ago, I bought another for a friend, and did a side by side comparison to check their accuracy. The two scales were in sync to the gram. I find that amazing, esp given the 18 year difference. My scale has served me well. After all these years, the only problem has been with the tare function that became balky a couple of years ago. To zero the scale out, I needed to push the button multiple times. Quite frusterating. However, I recently loosened the base, squirted electrical contact cleaner into the buttom, and, problem solved. This has been one of my best values for my money over these years.

We've had 4 different kitchen scales over the years and this is the most accurate, easy to use and readable. It measures to 1 gram very accurately and zeroes easily. Because the plate is offset it is easy to read with a bowl on top. I purchased the stainless steel plate to use on top to help keep it clean. It also doesn't turn off quickly which is nice when you are measuring many ingredients and have to run to the pantry to grab the next one :D We've had scales which were much more expensive from speciality kitchen stores and found them to be more cumbersome, hard to read and inaccurate. Buying another one for my crafting.

I have had the Escali Prio scale for about 5 months and am very pleased with it. I use it routinely when making sourdough bread (using 1500 g of flour), and spice mixes (need to weigh less than 30 g). As people wrote, large bowls do interfere a bit with the view of the screen, but I can and do use it with huge stainless steel bowls all the time anyway. It's accuracy is excellent. It is easy to wipe clean, but just in case, I keep it in a clear bag and weigh things that way. It never switches off while I am collecting forgotten ingredients, and is super intuitive to use. The battery it started with is still running after using it once or twice a week for 5 months. Also has a compact shape, so easy to store standing up sideways.

Have been using the Escali food scale for many months. I really like the ability to display or ounces and grams. I always use the "Tare" feature to subtract off the weight of my plate. It is small and light weight which allows it to remain on the countertop.

I've had this scale for about 7 years now; it's been used a minimum of twice a day, every day, for the last 4 years. It's one of the best-value things I've ever bought! I use it to weigh out wet food for five cats, which allows me to buy large (13 oz) cans & save money. There's no question that it has paid for itself many times over. It also makes it very easy to tweak the cats' serving sizes by as little as .05oz, keeping them svelte. Further accuracy hasn't been necessary for me. It gets knocked on the floor regularly and I'm not gentle with it, but it's still working perfectly. The batteries need changing very rarely, maybe once a year or less. It's handy to have around for measuring flour and for when I feel like tracking my own food intake, and takes up very little counterspace. Should mine ever die, I will absolutely buy another... though in a different color! Since I look at it it every day, I'd pick something a little more interesting than white.

***UPDATED REVIEW*** The review on the bottom was my previous review. Right after I sent it, I thought “Let me just try to measure something else besides water in my measuring cups.” So I did. I measured a rice krispy treat and a stick of butter and to my surprise, they were both exactly what the packages said they were! I inserted some videos on those. Hate that I couldn’t take back my previous review. I’ll definitely be keeping this scale. ***Previous Review! I bought this food scale to start measuring my macros for my fitness journey. If this scale was inaccurate to a very very small extent, I’d tolerate it and probably still keep it. But not only was it inaccurate enough for me, but the measurement changes everytime I test it out. I did my research and this brand fell under one of the best scales to get. I gave it 3 stars because it’s easy to use, pretty straight to the point which is nice. But for my weight loss journey, it’s not for me

An excellent kitchen scale that doesn't use those tiny little lithium batteries but regular one that are much better in terms of price and battery life. Made of plastic but feels high quality and has an excellent weight sensor in it. Highly recommend if you are looking for a reliable and high quality scale that won't break the bank.

worth the price for this scale. Been using the brand for a while now and it has never failed me. Fast accurate measurements, super easy to use and not too heavy. I love that it comes in many different colors. I got the white one, and I haven’t gotten any stains on it yet, it is easy to clean and looks fresh!

This scale has been perfect for my small business needs, great build quality and accurate readings. Very simple scale, no fancy buttons or anything. Weighs products properly and that's what i want.
