not sure yet, but the box was not hot. i'll add to this post after i find out.

The pies taste good, but 1/2 of the order was crushed in shipping. Very poorly packaged for a food product. 6 individual pies put in an Amazon bag and shipped. I only got to keep 3 out of 6. It is a non returnable item. So no help there.

I bought these for my husband loves apple pie and ice cream. These looked so good I had to get an order for him to try. HE LOVED THEM!!! I am sure we will be ordering then again many times

I was so happy to discover these online, blueberry pies are very difficult to find. Although the use-by date shows the end of the year, and the pies were well packaged and intact, they were very soggy and tasted "off." I've ordered JJ's pies online before and generally had good experiences, so was very disappointed.

Edit:I changed the star rating from 1 to 3. After checking 3 of these, the product appears to be fresh and in good condition. I still don't like how they are packaged and shipped.Original review:I saw these and thought "that looks good" and made the order. I received six separate boxes with no expiration date on any of them, so no idea how old these things are. The boxes were loosley sealed and you could not tell if they had been tampered with, or if bugs had gotten inside. Even the shipping box had holes in the corners. I like food shipped in a sealed container, not this way. I did taste one, it seemed fresh and in good condition, with kind of a flat flavor (I got the lemon filled). The price is too high for what you get and how it is packaged. I will not buy again...

They are tasty, but have a slightly bitter aftertaste like from a chemical

It was sent in a soft mailer. They were broken. Last time came in a box. Taste great. Still eat good

My first order was very good. The second order was a little damp on the outside.
