I got a faulty one at first, but they sent me another right away and it works great. It's able to get enough sunlight even though it's indirect (north wall).

This is a good deal for LED motion detecting lights. The housing is made from aluminum. I have mine set to off, and then comes on with motion. They will last all night with that setting. The motion detector works great when walking toward the porch light. Seems to lag just a bit when walking from under the porch. But overall a good deal for the money.

I put in 12v lighting along my driveway a few years ago, and wish I had saved the money. It's on a timer, and only runs from dusk to 930 PM. Sometimes I need light at other times (putting out the trash bins early on winter mornings and when guests stay later, but don't want to run the whole light system all the time.These fit the bill perfectly--so much so that I ordered a second and wish I had ordered these before installing the 12v system. Very bright, inexpensive (with no ongoing costs), good design and the aluminum should make them sturdy. No problems with either charging (although I have them set for off until motion is detected and then bright) or motion detection. I wish the time that they stay only after the motion ceases was a little longer (I guessing it's about 10 seconds), but not a big issue. Of course time will tell how long these last, but so far so good!

Update - after 4 days: The second one of these I purchased and installed seems to be faulty. It comes on for about half an hour, then turns off. I tried turning it off (push button for three seconds to presumably turn off, then pushed button again for three seconds to turn on. It lit for about 15 minutes, then went out. Very disappointing, as the light worked fine the first day or so after install. I will try to contact manufacturer to make warranty claim. The first of these lights that I installed a few days earlier continues to work great.I wanted to have two hard-wired outdoor wall lights on my patio. However, running the electrical looked to be problematic. A friend suggested going with solar lights, so I investigated and found these. These are of metal (aluminum, I think) construction - they seem very substantial. Easy to install. As someone else noted, screwing the side-entry screws to attach the fixture to the mounting bracket can be difficult. Had that problem with one screws on one fixture. Since I didn’t have a magnetic screw driver, I just wrapped some painters tape around the screw head and the end of the screw driver until the screw was threaded. I keep looking at these because they improve the appearance of my patio, day or night.So far, these have come on at dark dusk and remain on for most of the night. I’ve checked on them at 4 a.m. and they were still on. With no noticeable drop in brightness (I’m using the lower brightness setting).One potential future concern: Since these are battery-powered (charged via solar) and batteries eventually wear out, I tried to investigate whether the company sells replacement batteries. I couldn’t find any reference to replacement batteries being sold by the company. I hope those do not become an issue in the future.Overall, I’m very pleased with these outdoor solar wall lights.

Only been a month, so far so good. Aesthetically, it’s easily 5 stars. It looks great. I used this light to illuminate my address plaque. It’s modern and it looks great on my house. However, it doesn’t get anywhere NEAR 10 hours of light after dark. I’d say perhaps 4 if you’re lucky. I have it mounted on the front of the house where it gets a decent amount of light. I love the look of this and I’m really super bummed it doesn’t last longer after dark.

Very sturdy and always works, even in our southern Ontario Canadian winter. The only downfall is that the coating on the top of the solar panel peels on the lights that are in the hot sun all day long. I am going into my third year with this light and it still works as well as it did when I first got it. Nice warm light used to light a pathway. I need to buy more to finish my backyard.

I was super excited about this. Solid, elegant, and not cheap. But my cheap ones from the big box store stay on longer than this one! Wherever I position it, it randomly goes on and off, as if light is hitting it. Too lazy to return, and will find a place for it, but my experience thus far is not good.
