I bought these poles for my Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma (Mini Monstera). The only complaint I have, is although they are described as moss poles in the name, there is no moss in the at all. They are made of the fibers of the outer husk of a coconut, called coir. This is the same fiber used to make doormats, although these pole aren't scratchy. Going through the photos and product description, it clearly states that these are made of coir, but the name still states moss pole, which is a bit deceiving.Other that that minor misconception of the Amazon post, I have no complaints about this product. I love that my climbing plant has something organic to hold on to. I love that the stake in the dirt is wood, while the interior pole is PVC, so I don't need to worry about rusting. I love that as my Mini-Monstera grows, I can simply purchase more poles and keep adding to what is already established.Also, for those who are worried that this is not made of moss, as everyone in the plant community seems to generalize these poles as 'moss poles' when speaking about them... Coir is arguably a better option than moss. Moss poles need to be kept moist, which means they require their own watering schedule. Not only is this another watering task to add to your list, but a moss pole's watering needs are rarely the same as the climbing plant they are supporting. Meaning, the pole's watering could actually harm your plant. Coir does not need to be kept wet or moist. You don't have to worry about it. Also, because moss is a living organism, it will eventually die. Most claim the moss in moss poles will live 1-5 years. Meaning, at some point, you will need to remove the moss in the pole completely and replace it. This can be extremely difficult with a mature, well established plant attached, and can actually be a big shock to your plant. Coir is organic but non-living, so you don't have to worry about this.All in all, I highly recommend this product and will be keeping it on my Amazon list for easy access to purchase more in the future.

I have been searching for a source of moss poles for quite some time and was considering constructing one myself! Not really a good idea since I'm not skilled with tools. I found these after a brief search of various horticulture supplies online and visits to local home improvement centers and nurseries and finally, on Amazon. These were just the right size for training smaller, (6-8" pots) climbing type tropical plants such as monsteras, philodendrons and syngoniums. One major benefit is these poles are 14" with rot-proof foundations made of plastic pipe, and these are hollow and can be connected together if you have a taller plant. The supplier has other larger sizes as well. Easy to use and my syngoniums have been on their poles for about 2 months now and are healthy, sending out new growth and are not flopped over as they were formerly. I would recommend these to anyone looking for moss poles that are study, thoughtfully designed and well-priced (these can be very expensive!). I will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

I wish I had soaked them prior to wrapping my plant on it. I’ve been spraying it daily and my golden pothos and velvet leaf love them.

Love this product. This is my third time purchasing this item. It is well designed, easy to install and makes myplants look gorgeous!

I gave 3 stars when I would have given 5. I’ve previously purchased 4 or 5 of the 4 packs of totems. I really like that I can add a segment to extend the totem as the plant grows. The two I just received the coir is skinnier and the connector is wider in diameter. It won’t connect with any of the others I purchased. I hope this isn’t going to be a regular occurrence, changing the connector diameter. Really changes whether or not I’ll buy more. Very disappointing!

My dog seems to like to take a bite out of my plant leaves when he is running by the plant. They hang past the pot and they are at his mouth height. Now they will be too high for him to get to. It seems very sturdy. I like the height with both of them together.

I lvoe my moss poles. They came with the string with a built in cutter. They were individuall wrapped in plastic to protect it and the stake was sturdy. I love that it also came with an added bonus of a free gift inside. The delivery was prompt and I will purchase another when the need arise.

So far, so good. I don’t have any complaints. I guess the real review will come in the coming weeks. I’ve only had the moss poles for a few days.
