Sweet Sensations!
How sweet it is! I never had mulberries before and was not sure what to expect. After reading the reviews which ranged from excellent to awful I still wasn't sure what to expect. Some reviewers described the flavor as a cross between a fig and a raisin which I found to very accurate with the addition of being much sweeter. My plan was to replace the raisins in my morning oatmeal with these mulberries in order to reap the "superfood" benefits.. This morning I added a few berries along with the raisins and dried cranberries and this is what I found: 1. The berries are the same color as the oatmeal so it is difficult to know how many berries, if any, are about to make an appearance on your tastebuds. No berries.....disappointing, too many berries...OOOOOh, sweet as candy. This can be a little unsettling at 6am.. 2. Submerged in the same bowl of oatmeal, the berries are about 3x sweeter than the raisins. I thought the tartness of the dried cranberries would balance the incredible sweetness of the mulberries....not so. The mulberries are yummy and a few mixed in the oatmeal along with the usual amount of raisins and walnuts makes for a sweet variation in a few bites, very enjoyable. The berries do have numerous miniscule seeds in each berry, somewhat like a raspberry but with only about half the number of seeds per berry. This adds a subtle crunch that I like. I do like these berries but will use them as a sweet snack (maybe in place of candy/cookies?), not as a replacement for the raisins in my oatmeal. This evening I made a snack mix of mulberries, almonds, coconut flakes, and cocoa nibs...VERY good. Some reviewers complained about "stems and non edible parts" mixed in with the berries. There are stems, very tiny 2-4mm , and very soft/pliable, not hard or stick-like. I ate them along with the berries :)

Believe it or Not
I had heard somewhere that premature graying could be caused by a nutritional deficiency, so I bought a Chinese medicine book and looked up remedies for premature graying. The book listed one suggested remedy: mulberries. Apparently mulberries were once quite prevalent in North America. These are from Turkey, but I have to say, believe it or not, that my hair has definitely gotten darker after eating them on a fairly steady basis. My hair has gone from salt & pepper (with less pepper every day, seemingly) to dark on the sides and in back, with just a few areas (like my temples) that are gray. When I got my hair cut, the stylist confirmed that my roots were darker almost everywhere compared to what she was cutting off. I do have a feeling that this only works if you have some sort of nutritional deficiency that mulberries provide, so your mileage may vary... That said, these are also great snacks! Surprisingly sweet and wholesome, a crunchy yet chewy superfood! I think they are delicious. One friend I shared them with agrees, but another (nickname: Fussy) didn't care for them much.

A not so well known (nutrient dense) candy like dried fruit you've gotta try.
These are the most delicious dried fruit I've ever tasted. Being a nutrition nerd(as well as a cook and foodie) I've noticed the iron content is lower than some I've tried but the general nutrient profile is good. The TASTE is amazing! I understand if your vegan and want to use this as a primary way to gain optimum iron levels without suppliments, you might want to find mulberries with 10 or 20 percent RDA per serving but the taste most likely won't be as good. Allso, if you've never tried mulberries, and think it's something only your grandparents eat you might be in for a grand surprise if you did. You CAN easily get you DRA for vitamin c with these and there's plenty of phytonutrients in them, so, I'd recommend these as an alternative to candy, I eat them like candy myself.

Delicious
I effing love mulberries. I was torn on ordering this brand based on some of the reviews. I was afraid of being stuck with 2 lbs of subpar berries, but ultimately pulled the trigger because it seemed like the best deal. I've only opened one bag, but I could tell as soon as I pulled them out of the box that the berries weren't dried out in both bags. They felt dense and moist in the package. Of the bag I opened, I've eaten 3 small handfuls. I got a piece of dirt or grit in one bite. There are a few stems, and one berry was a little dry and crunchy. That's what you get when you eat lightly processed food from nature. The berries are delicious. Lightly sweet and chewy, and mostly entact. I'm sure as I get to the bottom I'll end up with smaller pieces, but that's ok. I'm really pleased, because, as I've stated before, I effing love mulberries.

not fresh
This product is not as fresh as some other brands of white mulberries I have gotten over the years. It's super dry and obviously not fresh. Packaging and flavor is good though.

These are amazing!!! Like eating fresh mulberries after soaking for a little while!
I am so happy with these mulberries!! At first I wasn’t expecting them to be so crunchy but after a day of being opened the crunch lessened and then I realized that if I put them in a container of milk for a few hours (I like to put them in overnight oats they are amazing) they soften right up and it’s like eating fresh mulberries right off the tree they are so amazing! I read that you can soften them up with water too if milk isn’t your thing. They are good dry too but my teeth are really bad so they’ve been hurting too much for that. But don’t let it turn you off that they are dried because it’s near impossible to find fresh ones and after soaking these are exactly like eating fresh ones, you would never know the difference! So amazing! Also surprisingly low in sugar and carbs. Highly recommend!!

Too dry, hard to chew.
I have purchased lots of dry mulberries in a past from multiple sources including this same brand and these were by far the most dry ever. Not sure if these are old (Exp. date January '26) or just over dried but definitely mush harder to chew then the rest. Taste is fine, fresh and delicious. My elderly parents couldn't chew these so now I am stuck with 4 lbs of these.

Love these little berries
I’ve purchased these mulberries multiple times from Terrasoul and they’ve consistently been excellent quality. I eat them by the handful and also enjoy them as a salad topper.
