I've never used this type of tool before but it arrived in one day and just in time for my project: recovering a footstool. I was able to use the point to locate the holes where the "feet" would go and the other flat end helped me to push in the fabric to make the folds on the corners. I could NOT be any happier with this fine product for just $10. I used it on a medium weight upholstery fabric.

My dad is a furniture upholsterer and I bought him another regulator for Christmas. Does what it’s suppose to.
