These are great
I used to do CrossFit and these helped me so much. Less rips on my hands and I could hold on to the rig better. Would buy again

The product is OK.
The leather hand part is good. But the wrist is flimsy. Mixed feeling.

First Hand Grips -- Buy These
These work. That's the short answer. The longer answer is that while they work, a few minor design changes would do wonders for this product. The finger holes should not be square, as this creates difficulty in finger insertion/removal (lost time if you are in the midst of a WOD). The wrist strap holds well, but the plastic loop/buckle digs into your wrist. Surely, there is a better material than this plastic, or the loop/buckle can be made to stay atop or underneath the wrist. As for the leather strips, they definitely protect your hands well and grip well. However, it seems the product would again be a bit better designed if the strips were off centered slightly toward the "meat" of the palm near the thumb. This would aline the strips better with the fingers, causing less discomfort to the fingers from the square holes. Just a thought. All this is to say: While the product could be better designed, the current product does as advertised and is much preferred to bare-handed muscle ups on wood rings or a metal bar. I strongly recommend trying these before buying another product, more expensive. This product may be all you need, or it will allow you to better define what it is you are seeking in a set of hand grips in the future. I am happy with this purchase. Also, I found that if I wear wrist sweatbands under the wrist straps, the plastic loop/buckle can't dig into my skin.Buy this product first. If for no other reason, the customer service is fantastic! They contacted me at least three times the first week to make sure I had received and was okay with their product. This alone is worth more than the cost of the hand grips.

A mixed bag, but generally ok
Please don't interpret the 3 stars as an indication that these were bad. It's just that they weren't as great as I was hoping, and there is some room for improvement. Before I begin, though, I have to note that this shipped from a 3rd party vendor and they got to my house insanely fast - kudos there. So, these work. They are sized appropriately. But, they shed (you'll want that bag that comes with the grips). One of the grips broken in within 2 weeks, the other one still hasn't broken in after a month (using them 3x a week). On the grip that is broken in, I don't mind the excess leather between my fingers; in the other one, it is uncomfortable. The holes in for my fingers are a little weird because they are big enough to allow my rings to create blisters right at the base of my fingers (where they would show up without the grips). But, the grips protect my hands well when doing (or more accurately trying to do!!) muscle-ups on the rings.I ended up stopping using these after about 6 weeks. I felt my hands were getting rougher and better able to handle what I was doing. But, I'm not unhappy that I tried these. They did work for the most part. If you are interested in trying grips, I think these are a good choice and I recommend them. If I start to do more crazy stuff on the rings, I could see going back to these.

Wish I found these sooner
Really like these. Been crossfitting for over 8 years and I wish I had found these sooner. I use to make my own grips out of athletic tape but no longer have the time or energy. Even if I did, I think I would still go with these WODFitter grips.I have only used them thus far in around 6 WODs averaging 50 or so pull-ups each. The grips have held up well and appear to be well constructed. They pretty much take hand tearing and soreness issues out of the equation. I will say, I still experience some hand issues due to the leather rubbing against my palm which is somewhat expected and still much more bearable than full blown tearing.I've had no issues with the wrist straps. The transition between pullups and non-grip movements is really simple. I just pop my fingers and and rotate the grip to the back of my hand. Then spin the grip back to my palms and slip back in when it is time for more pullups. Quick and easy. The only real "issue," that in the end was a non-issue, was the stiffness of the grips. Of the two grips, one had significantly stiffer leather than the other which made the finger holes very uncomfortable. I was concerned that this would cause rubbing/blistering on the insides of my fingers. It didn't. The leather softened up after one workout and has not been an issue since.Great product!

Servicable
These are... fine. They're not good, but they're not terrible either. The leather is really rough but I expect that will improve as I use them more. I am worried the leather is going to tear between the finger holes, we'll see!

Mixed Feelings
I have used these for a few WODs now. I'm not entirely satisfied. The wrist strap is cheap Velcro, and while it does secure, it is not comfortable on the skin and doesn't look very robust. The leather (business) portion of the grips is much higher quality, and does it's job. The finger cut outs would be better if they were round, you know, like the shape of fingers! The rectangular shape is awkward, and uncomfortable, even for my quite small fingers. If a person had thicker digits, I could see the fit being even worse. On the good side, they do offer a better grip than gloves for pull ups, toes to bar etc... I've noticed improvement in my performance numbers just based on the improved grip power, and still get decent protection from ripping. However, I will stick with gloves for barbell work.Overall, if you could find a good thick piece of leather, you may be better served just to cut a piece yourself, and cut out or drill some holes a bit larger than you fingers. I'm unsure that the wrist strap is necessary at all, as the holes can serve to hold the grips loosely in place and then you can use the bar to secure the back end while in use. If you wanted a wrist strap, you would have to either have a good sewing machine, or take it to a leather-smith.As usual with Amazon, the transaction was smooth, and delivery fast.

Not as pictured
I loved the original grips as pictured. The new ones are softer leather and have a different pattern and strap. They work but not the same.

No more ripped hands.
Great grip and comfortable to wear. Size comes up slightly small (I bought the medium size) for a normal male hand so it might be worth trying a larger size than you planned.

Really good grips
Really good product, saves my hands being shredded during kipping pull ups, toes to bar etc. For me, they ran a bit larger than i expected so had to reorder and get a small (I have average sized hands)
