They have run almost 3 years continuously
Still running after almost 3 years. Seldom shut off. Good quality apparently, pulls heat from refrigerator cabinet, pretty quiet.

Using the Fans as a Booster for an Ancient Floor Register
I have a 100+ year old house with large, 9 x 12 inch floor registers. I am using the 2x fan combo as a booster fan for a register on the second floor. Because there is a transformer which decreases the voltage to 12 volts or less, it is safe to put the fans under the register grill and in the ancient metal ductwork. The power cord to the fans has a male/female connection which is less than 1/4 inch in diameter. This makes it easy to feed the cord through the cast iron grillwork. I did have to make a small wood frame to hold the fans in the proper place but one develops some skills when one has an old house like mine. The adjustable speed/voltage control allowed me to back off the speed and select one that is relatively quiet. The rubber feet also helped in this regard. The fans operate 24/7 when the air conditioner is running. The second floor did not get nearly enough cool air (the system was designed for heat, not air conditioning). By letting the fans run they also draw cooler air from the return registers on the first floor when the compressor is not running. I definitely noticed that there was much less temperature stratification between the floors when I installed my first paired unit. I just bought a second unit which I will install shortly. I am hopeful that after that I can even raise the air conditioner thermostat a degree and recoup (and then some) the energy costs for running the fans. I will probably take them out in winter and put them back in during the next cooling season.

Decently quiet fans with a nice speed controller
I have been using these fans (the three-fan configuration) for several days now, and so far they're excellent. I am using them to bring in cold air through a window at night, and they're perfect for that task. The power supply unit comes with a relatively long cable, but for my situation I've opted to use an additional 33 ft. DC extension cable that I purchased separately. This allows me to keep the fan controller in a more easily accessible location. The fans themselves seem to be fairly well built, and they're held together with metal brackets between each individual fan. The grills on my fans are metal, just like the ones shown in the product images. The quality seems reasonable, and I think they'll hold up over time. The speed controller is rather lightweight and cheap feeling, and I'm not sure how well it's constructed internally. Nevertheless it does work properly, and it offers a good range of control for the fans. It doesn't get hot or make any worrying noises, so that's a good sign.I'll be interested to see how well these fans hold up after long term use. Right now I'm planning to use them during the winter months to bring cool air into a room with multiple computers. I'd recommend these fans.

Great Fan Unit!
Use this to cool two, 2U rack spaces with converters & headphone amplifiers in my recording studio (mounted it about 8" behind the rack between the two spaces) and LOVE how quiet it is and only need to run it at its lowest setting and it does the job more than adequately! My gear was too hot to touch before installing this fan unit and now it is completely cool to touch! Will be getting 2 or 3 more.UPDATE: 6 months later, I bought 2 more and all 3 sets of them are at the slowest speed and did a fine 9super quiet) job of cooling. A month after I installed the other two groups, the first set's vari-speed control on the power supply will now only play on "high". I have to constantly turn it on and off for the noise is too much while working in my recording studio. Need to find a replacement voltage controller. Great while it lasted.

Works Great!
I think it's pretty nice and moves alot of air. I'm using it in my Grooming but as a exhaust fan that I attached into the bus window. Pretty quiet too!!

Makes a excellent small window fan.
I have a small kitchen window that I like to keep a small exhaust fan in. I used to buy those three fan jobs that would gunk up, be impossible to clean then die. These fans are super easy to clean. They also move the air like nobody's business! I love the variable speed control. At the highest speed they can be a bit noisy but nothing you cannot live with when you need good air movement. Another plus is they are very portable. You can move it around anywhere you need them for just about any purpose. Great item for the price and I expect they will last a while if maintained properly.

Worked perfect for cooling down a 6'x4' dog kennel.
I don't think there anything about this product that I dislike. Fans are just like basic PC fans, but the plastic frame is not cheap, the motors are brushless, and the dual ball bearing make them run so quiet.I have to build my own kennels as my puppies need one that they can fit in together, yet it can't be too big or else they use the restroom in it.This last one I built with doubled up 1/2" plywood, I foamed the top, front and backsides in an effort to keep the cool air inside. The plan was to have some holes in the back and a very open gate like door to make sure there was plenty of airflow. Plasi glass on the sides for light and a slightly slanted roof for rain runoff. The whole thing rolls easily on 4" casters and can be used inside or outside (recommended under a shaded area.)Unfortunately I couldn't find the right size gate when the time came! I built a door out of fence wire and mesh, but my dogs chewed it up within 2 visits. They really love to chew on things when left alone.Anyways, I ended up sealing off the door with more wood, and now the thing traps way too much heat! Indoors it's burning up inside.I bought 2 of these fans for a push/pull setup and on their lowest setting it's whisper quiet, and yet when I crawled into the kennel it was nice and cool.Highly recommended, good quality, easy to install

Powerful
So far, so good. Working well in my chicken coop. I bought the double fans and they are pretty powerful. Definitely keeps my coop cooler.
