Ori and The Will of The Wisps (Nintendo Switch)

This ori game is absolutely beautifully made the graphics are amazing in docked or handhold modes and the controls are perfect and easy to get used to as well you get a small pack of picture cards included in the game case plus a free download code to be used to download the theme song to your phone/tablet or pc from the game because the song for this game is beautiful and quite moving the story of this game is moving too and very gripping I absolutely love this game so much its the first time I’ve played any ori games and WOW i was definitely missing out this games story music and graphics are incredible it can be challenging too from time to time even in normal mode but it gets you gripped from the first play I highly recommend this game i really do it should be in anyone’s switch game collection

I haven’t written a game review in years, but felt compelled to for Ori’s second outing. I only played the Blind Forest in January 2021 and immediately after completing it knew I had to get Will of the Wisps.No exaggeration to say that this game is one of the most emotional experiences I’ve had, and is a true masterpiece. The gameplay is challenging (although I found the Blind Forest harder) but very generous with automatic save points.It’s difficult to write anything story related without spoiling it, but it will have you thinking about the game long after you’ve finished playing it.Highly, highly recommend. Would give it more than 5 stars if I could.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps is a beautifully presented ‘metroidvanian’, with a touching story and enough of a challenge to be rewarding while never becoming frustrating. For me; far more engaging than the similar title ‘Hollow Knight’ (which is excellent), I’m struggling to thing of anything negative. My favourite game on Switch so far and would absolutely recommend.

Near completion of first run through. The team have changed up some of the mechanics from the first game and introduced proper boss fights.The game runs pretty well on the switch, although there are a few performance issues.- Screen tracking does not always follow ori correctly which can prove difficult during the escape sequences.- The game has simply crashed a few times resulting in loss of timeNothing to make the game unplayable but can stop the flow quite abit.This time around, Ori has a multitude of skills you must assign to your buttons depending on the situation, some more useful than others I found. There are also passive skills you must assign so you get to effectively create your an build for Ori.Some segments of the game can be challenging but nothing has been too difficult. Story is not as much of a emotional roller coaster as the first but still keeps you entertained. Lots of NPCs around to do side quests.Enjoying so far and not got long left. Worth picking up.

I've been playing games since I was a kid ... and I can honestly say this is now my favourite game of all time! Great game play stunning imagery and a really heart gripping story ... this game really does have it all I just can't recommend it enough

I spent almost every spare minute of my life for weeks hooked on this game. It is breathtakingly beautiful and creative, challenging but also just great to explore and solve puzzles. Just amazing.

Fantastic game with brilliant art style to it.I'm glad it was released on the Switch because i only have the first original xbox and that one can't play the original version of the game.

Bought this as a xmas present for dd. She loved the graphics but gave up on it 2 hrs in. Main complaint was there was a few minutes of gameplay and 10 minutes of story. Will have a look myself but game did not engage an 11 year old. Shame, looks stunning and such great reviews.
