This bookshelf is exactly what I needed for my new desk. I was looking for something that wouldn't interfere with the built in plug in section of my desk but could hold all of my diamond painting stuff and this is perfect. Came with clear and concise instructions and a whole army of screws in case you lose any. I love that it's customizable for size and it's super stylish!

This piece is sturdy and very easy to assemble. The piece is decorative and offers a good amount of storage/display area.

I think the overall appearance and functionality of the shelves is top notch. The different configurations are great and I’ve moved them around a few times to fit my desk as I’ve reorganized it. I’m not sure why everyone is so upset it’s not wood, because it doesn’t say it is. Most furniture isn’t nowadays. Despite that, it seems very sturdy. The heavy books that are lying down were on the top shelf for awhile and they held up perfect. Assembly is easy but you do need to force the ends onto the four connectors but then it is SO sturdy. Press evenly so you don’t bend it. My biggest concerns and the only reason it’s not 5 starts were there is a haze over the black shelves that won’t go away with cleaning including some scratches even though it was packaged snugly. When you touch it the fingerprints are SO visible. The visible silver screws are an eyesore. I plan on painting them black. They also sent me a white shelf when I ordered black the first time so having to wait longer was a bummer.

I love this desk shelf. To me it's mostly aesthetics and only somewhat function-able, but I'm ok with that. It gives me what I need. I don't need anything for heavy storage or books. With that being said, it is pretty sturdy for what I need but if you need something for books or major files or heavy equipment, I wouldn't suggest it. Overall though I'm pretty satisfied. Takes minimal time to put together. Very cute.

So, I should have read the details a bit better when researching the product. I saw it and thought that it was very pretty and assumed it was made of wood. When it turned up, I was disappointed that it was not made of wood but of very thick foam board. Think project board but several times thicker. I want to use this shelf for my huge medical coding books, and I question whether it will hold up their weight. So far it looks like it might, but time will tell. I took off another star because one side has a dent in the bottom.

I really love the way this turned out on my desk! I needed some shelves to just get things off the surface of my desk. This is the perfect size, and I love that you can customize it to fit your space. Very easy to put together. The material isn’t “wood”, so just be aware of the weight of the items you are putting on the shelves. Overall, perfect for what I needed! Highly recommend!

I put this on my desk in my college apartment for some extra book and trinket storage because my room is TINY. It was super easy to put together, and has held up VERY well after holding a bunch of stuff and occasionally being shuffled around for six months. It’s quite sturdy, and also a cute addition to the space. Kind of a unique maximalist twist on the standard shelf.

Grandaughters desk. Excellent for putting papers and items on.

This is NOT a material I would call wood. It’s more like a plastic toy puzzle than a functional piece of office furniture. I’ve returned it as it does not meet my standards, needs nor style.

Not the most high end material, but it gets the job done. I used it in the corner of my closet office and it works fine.

Horrible quality. Arrived covered in saw dust. Very cheap looking. Not held together with anything, just puts pieces into others. Came with knicks in the wood particle board. Sides and edges are rough need sanding and another coat of paint.

I've been wanting to buy a book case that's small enough that could fit on my desk to lessen the clutter and get organized. And here it is. Perfect.
