The media could not be loaded. I recently purchased the 3M multipurpose mask for a home renovation project and it’s been a total game changer. I used it while stripping paint and working with strong adhesives, and it effectively blocked out both dust and the intense chemical odors that usually make me nauseous.The fit is snug but comfortable — the adjustable straps and soft face seal make it easy to wear for long periods without irritation. Though I don’t have the ability to test the actual function of this scientifically as to its efficacy in filtering, I can report that I don’t smell the lacquer very strongly at all, and I can breathe well with it. It is a well made mask, and I really needed a new one, so it was a good choice at price and quality for me,

Nice and comfy i have a bit of a larger face mainly around my cheek bones but this sits nice and well and i got a nice seal. Doesn't itch or rub my face wrong or nothin. I got this fir welding and it works ok. The filters that come with it a bit too bulky so I would recommend going to the 3M 2297 Advanced Particulate Filter p100 for a better fit under your welding hood.

This little guy has helped quite a bit. I just bought a house that the previous owner smoked (Covered in Nicotine), had cats (That peed everywhere), Rotting walls (Due to water damage), Clogged sewage pipes, and the list goes on. Needless to say without this I would probably have lost 10 years of my lungs.I really do enjoy these a lot. The main reasons why I gave this 4 stars was:1. its very hard to find documentation on the specific uses for all of these respirators for the average joe. You can find info but it doesn't make too much sense.2. Hardish to clean. Honestly not sure if you are supposed to clean them. But I found they get clogged quick if your movin around in insulation and such. But it seems alright if I use the shop vac on them.3. Some smells creep through. Most things you cant smell but if the stench is bad enough be prepared to smell some smells.Other than that if you can handle those three things its a great all around respirator. Soon enough I will be using one for Blacksmithing with my coal forge and may give an update.

I just received this today, new in box and in good shape, assembled ok, seals good and seems to work as expected... no more flimsy paper masks!Just to clear up confusions in previous reviews, the date on the filters (blue circle) is the "lot and manufacture date" and the date on the filter package (red circle) is the "use by" expiration date, so mine were made this year and are "good" for at least 5 years. Also I am average size (5'10", 170 lbs) and the medium fits perfect and I CAN use my glasses with this mask. Tiny and gigantic folks should order accordingly.... Hope this helps.

Excellent mask. I purchased this for my job (greenhouse worker) and I have to mix soils for different projects. When dealing with perlite it can send up such a fine dust it will coat your lungs and prevent the alveoli in your lungs from converting oxygen into the blood stream potentially deadly so we are required to wear masks. I bought this one for myself and am not at all disappointed. No issues with particulates, no coughing like crazy, easy to breathe with, nice fit to my face with proper adjustments which they have an insert to show you how to properly adjust it to your face. When I am walking and just need it to be carried the straps that conform to the back of my head release slightly in the front so they can’t be damaged so I can wear it around my neck as I don’t have an free hands when I am pulling a large crate on a pallet jack to go to the soil mixer. Moisture will build up the longer you wear it I simply make sure that as soon as I don’t need to wear it that I use an alcohol pad (find them at any pharmacy store) and wipe down the inside to ensure no bacterial growth.
