Mr. Pen- Felt Tip Pens, Black Pen, 12 Pack, Fast Dry, No Smear, Planner Markers

The colors are vibrant and oh so pretty and with 16 colors to choose from to boot. I manage quite a few different accounts at work and each account has their own personalized details that are specific to them and only them so I have detailed notes for each account. I like for the notes to be sectioned off by each step and to have each step in a different color which helps me isolate each individual step. Yes I could type the notes up on a computer and just change the font color as I like but I'm old school and I prefer hand written notes. Plus over time I tend to add little tips here and there in the margins. These pens allow me to do exactly what I want and with the 0.7mm tips my notes look so clean and since the ink doesn't bleed I don't have to worry about not being able to use both sides of the page if I choose and the ink doesn't "seep out" when I write (so my writing on my notes is clear and legible). They come in a nifty little pouch which keeps them together and easily accessible. I did have one small issue with the pens. The purple pen didn't write as well as the others. It was as if it were almost dry. I didn't realize this until after it was too late to return to Amazon. When reviewing the details of my order I saw where I could click a link that said "Get Product Support". This link allowed me to contact the manufacturer (Mr. Pen) regarding my issue. I emailed them and included my Amazon order number as instructed and explained my problem. I asked that if it possible could they replace that specific pen and if not then no worries as it really isn't the end of the world. I messaged them on a Tuesday at 12:12 PM Eastern Daylight Time. There was no auto reply email saying the garden variety "Thank you for contacting us, someone will address your concern soon". Instead I received an email at 8:53 AM Eastern Daylight Time the very next day. This email said they appreciated my contacting them and that they have issued a refund of my order, mind you I didn't ask for one. It wasn't a form letter type email. It was specific to me. I have honestly never in my 41 years dealt with any business no matter thew type regarding a problem and had it be this dang easy and zero hassle, no questions asked no forms to fill out I didn't have to do anything other than send my first and only email. Plus the mustache stickers that come with the pens is so stinking cute.

These write so nicely, very comparable to the paper mate ones. Packaging was very nice, love that you get a cute little note and sticker. Love supporting smaller businesses, definitely worth it. Also the quality is 10/10! Very pigmented. Does not bleed through regular notepad paper.

These pens are great! I got the 30 pack and it actually has 30 different colors, I couldn't believe it. And a lot of the color choices are, like, sophisticated. They have nice mustard and brown colors. I love brown and there's usually not more than one brown in any pen or marker set, if there is one at all. These have a plastic nib like Sakura Pigma Micron PN pens, that's why I got them. Microns don't have enough colors. Unfortunately these aren't a substitute even though they're fun. I knew they would have a bolder line than Micron pens but it's MUCH thicker, thicker than 0.7 a lot of the time, depending on your paper and writing style. If you try to use these on copy paper, the ink feathers and spreads, and bleeds through the paper pretty badly. Some colors are worse than others at bleeding, and it isn't based on how dark the color is. The worst one so far has been the medium orange color. The spreading and feathering are less of a problem on nice notebooks, so you can get a thinner line, but they do still bleed or ghost. The ink basically doesn't smear at all, it sinks immediately into matte paper. I tried to smear it with a wet finger lol but nothing happened, so I thought it was at least somewhat waterproof. But then a page got water dripped on it and that completely removed the ink. If the splash had been worse I could have lost info from that page (I'm using the pens for planning so that involves tasks and phone numbers that I can't lose). Oh and they did pretty well under glitter highlighter (I think it's acrylic). They don't write great on top of glitter highlighter. The pens are about 5" long with the lid on, I believe. They are the same length as my pocket notebook. But if you clip the cap to the book, the top sticks out almost 3/4". My pants have thigh pockets and that's where I keep my notebook, with a pen in it, and these work for that. The pens have a white plastic nib assembly that is friction fit into the colorful barrel of the pen. If you hold some of the pens upside down the white nib will start to fall out. I put a tiny piece of thin washi tape around the inner edge of the white piece and crammed it back in, and now it doesn't fall out. On the first or second day of having these pens, I fell asleep with the cap off of my favorite color. It was off for hours. When I woke up and saw it I almost started crying. You have to buy a whole new set if you need to replace one color. But I picked up the pen and it worked exactly the same as before lol. I couldn't believe it. It would be cool if the pens had color numbers or names. The plastic color is a pretty good indicator of color most of the time but not on every pen, and you can't compare the colors available in each set online very well. There is another brand (Lelix) that makes similar pens, and I'll try those someday to see if they have eliminated any of these issues, but the cost is much higher and it doesn't seem like the colors are as good.

I love these pens! Last long, they are dark but not bleeding ink dark. Easy flow of ink and movement across paper.

These are great pens but they don't have very much ink in them and run out very quickly but other than that they are awesome.

I LOVE these pens!!! Best pens I’ve had in a long time. I’m a pen addict, collector, whatever you want to call it, and these just moved to the top of my list. They are felt tip, but very fine, not like the other felt tip pens that seem to get fat over time. I’ll update if anything changes, but I would 100% buy again!

I'm about to order my second pack of black pens, and feel the need to say, these pens have become my favorite to write with, smooth, dark, simple, and ergonomic. I was surprised at how cheap they were, being so high quality, but discovered they don't last very long, and dry up after a few months of consistent use. I still give these five stars though, just wanted to relay that point for consideration. Still highly recommend.

Good product

I actually nearly didn't order these pens based on comments … but glad I did. They are the perfect writing nib that I was looking for. The comments mentioned that some of the pens did not work so I tested them all as soon as they arrived. They all WORK! The light purple colour was not as smooth gliding on the paper as the others, but the ink worked just fine. (As seen in picture). The caps are a tight seal so after use … make sure you put the cap back on until it snaps closed! Great price … fast delivery… I needed them for a project so was so very pleased to see them arrive today. Will keep you posted on there performance.

Beautiful pens, especially for calligraphy. I love the colour range. Easy to use and glides nicely. Very pigmented also.
