I'm including a picture of the utility sink I got the valves for. I also got the sink on Amazon and will write a good review for that when I get around to it.The valves are considered 1/2", but this is CPVC which actually has a 0.640" outer diameter (OD) which mates perfectly. There is a clear plastic inner tube that fits pretty gosh darn tight on the inner diameter of said same CPVC pipe.My first attempt at installing the valves had one not leaking and one leaking mildly, but stopped leaking when I moved the position on the valve. The beauty of these valves is that you have full 360° movement after they are installed.Anyway, when I went to install the sink, I discovered that I did not cut the CPVC back far enough (tight space!) And had to dock off another two inches (approximately). Removing the valve itself was fairly easy (when using the supplied tool, of course), but Removing the inner tube proved more challenging. I found a socket from my toolbox that fit into the ID of the CPVC pipe and knocked it out from the other side.After trimming and re-installation they both leaked like crazy! I grabbed the pipe with one hand and gave the valve a good palm punch with the other. That stopped any and all leaks (maybe they became afraid of me at this point, who knows?).The steel braided hoses that came with the sink fit perfectly on the other end of the valves (you will obviously not need the nut or the brass insert the valves come with, those are for different projects). You will need a 16MM wrench to tighten the 3/8 fittings, though.I am deducting a star because I felt that the clear plastic inner tube fit too tightly, and you should have the option of buying in pairs (for a slight discount, maybe?) instead of one at a time.
