Great product for tone shaping
My guitar setup had some harsh mid-range that tone controls couldn't touch. I put the EX7 at the front of the effects chain and it solved the problem. This is a quality product. The pedal is solid due to the cast aluminum case. The sliders have a great feel, with a good detent in the middle. The level control is 0 db at the middle setting, which is handy if you don't want to boost or cut volume. The foot switch is responsive without pops or noise. It's a perfect size for an already crowded pedal board. It's a great tool at a great price!

Perfect small pedalboard solution
Had just enough room to add a mini pedal, and wanted an EQ. This pedal was the perfect solution, and sounds great! does exactly what it's supposed to do in a small form.

Not bad
A decently built pedal with a great volume boost. Seems solid enough but tends to "click" when being switched on and off. This issue seems to be hit and miss according to the reviews here... mine definitely has an audible "switch noise" I have it in my pedal box for a back up for emergencies. EQ works as it should and the volume slider is a huge benefit if using as a boost. if you get one without the noise in the switch it's a win! Just to clarify, I had this plugged in to an isolated, well grounded circuit by itself and the switch still "Clicked" when depressed so it wasn't a ground or cable issue. Would I recommend it? Can't say I would due to the switching noise. Had the "Quality lottery" favored me and presented me with one that works I would say "buy it". for the price, look at alternatives... they're out there.

It does it's job but the footswitch has a loud POP
This pedal is okay for the price, but the footswitch has a loud pop when it's connected to my soundchain. I'm going to have to open it up and add bleeder resistors to eliminate this problem.

I use this on my Minitaur synth
I wish this brand made one of these in this size and price range that catered towards the low end of the EQ like for bass guitar. I use this on my analog bass synthesizer (Moog Minitaur) and I think what is most interesting about it's behavior is what happens when you put this before other effects in your chain. While it may not be the most dramatic EQ all on it's own, it does a great job of pushing the signal enough to distinctly alter the character of any pedals in sequence after it. So, if you have a pedal that you are considering buying twice just to make it kick harder, maybe try adding this tiny and wildly affordable EQ before you shell out hundreds and end up with overkill. At this size and price, this really seems like a unit you should be seeing in everyone's rig. The controls are tight, so if you have the space then you may want a unit with a bigger footprint, but honestly most EQ pedals don't give you more room between each slider anyway, just more room overall maybe for your hand. This is not the type of EQ that will give you dramatic results, but it will for sure help you to push your signal in a biased way before it goes into the rest of your chain. Some people put their EQ at the end of the chain but I would say you just need one at both ends if you want it at the end too. Go ahead and buy this. I am sure you can wedge it into your setup effectively.

Started dying less than a year after purchase. You get what you pay for here, AVOID!
At first, I thought this was a great value for the money. A true bypass, 7-band EQ with level adjustment for that price? I also liked that it was a major space saver on the pedalboard, and the reviews at the time were mostly good. At first, everything was great. The sliders worked well, level adjustment, everything.Enter maybe 6 months in, and the sliders stared making a lot of noise. I tried blowing the unit out with compressed air to relieve it of dust etc, and no dice. 2 months after that? Now the sound cuts out completely, and intermittently. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Sliding the dials will make HUGE noise, and can now cause the sound to go out completely at random. It's too good to be true for the $$ people. You get what you pay for here!

Cool Compact EQ Pedal
I was curious to try out this affordable mini EQ pedal. I've used it in the my Quilter Interblock 45 Pedal board effects loop to bring some highs up. I am currently using it as a clean boost before my plexi style Pedal into a Yamaha THR10II desktop amp. * I don't play live gigs so I haven't used this at stage levels. Cool little pedal.
