They ain't quite absolutely perfect, but...
These do a fine job of tightly closing a bag if the bag has a width suitable for one of these sticks. I've had to use a shorter stick on a wider bag, which was okay because I didn't open the bag all the way across; and I sometimes have to use a longer stick on a narrower bag, which seals fine but makes the bag essentially as wide as the stick, for storage--and the extra stick poking out is rather ghastly. Most bags have a width that is close enough to one of the stick lengths--but it might take several orders of these sticks to assure you have enough of the the stick sizes you need--and then you'll probably have quite a handful of the longest sticks taking up storage space. So this bag-width vs stick-length nuisance is easy enough to eliminate: just buy more sets of these sticks. Some bag materials don't like these sticks. A plastic sandwich bag, for example, will just bunch up when you try to push a stick onto it. Some bags have a design that requires pushing a stick over four layers of material (rather than just front and rear of bag), and those can be impossible if the material is thick or the bag design has a vertical flap-seam up the center at the back (like many tortilla chip bags, for example). You can often still do a reasonable job by inserting a shorter stick at each side so that they almost meet at the impassable flap-seam (not a complete perfect seal, but surely good enough), or by opening just one side of the bag almost up to the flap-seam then use a shorter stick to seal just that half of the bag.So, some bags are a nuisance, and a few maybe can't be perfectly sealed with these sticks. Flimsy plastic bags, such as sandwich bags or typical grocery store produce bags, won't let these sticks work on them (yeah, I doubt I'll ever have a need for any of that, but I tried them once to see). Some bags need a slight bit of wrestling the first time you stick them, but they don't mind at all if you stick them again and again in the same place you stuck them the first time. These sticks are not absolute all-encompassing perfection for universal temporary re-sealing of bags. They are pretty close, though, and I bet there is nothing else that gets this close to perfection for this. One order of these sticks will surely make you wish you'd ordered more of them in the first place.

Fantastic little tool for closing bags. They help keep food fresh longer. Easy to use, seems durable and very inexpensive.

Perfect package combo and clips work very well
I love these clips. They are so efficient and keep all of the air out of the bags to keep the items fresh.I took 1 star away only because these ones are less in girth than another brand I have making them a little harder to use but definitely not a deal breaker.Although this package has more of the 2 larger lengths than any other package I have seen...a great feature to this package. If your new to these buy this package so you don't get so many of the sizes you will use only a small amount of the time.

Ingenious product
These are the coolest things ever! Easy to use and easy to store. Great for Chip bags or cereal bags, Try this: Put lettuce in a large ziplock bag, slide on a stick, but cucumbers, peppers, whatever you like, slide on another stick then put chopped tomatoes and seal. At lunch, slide off the sticks, shake the bag and you have freshly tossed salad!

Good and Not So Good
I found these after searching through many such products. I thought it was a novel idea when I saw it on QVC (another brand) an knew my Amazon would have them. With same-day delivery, I had them about 4 hours after seeing bag sealers on QVC. I was excited to try them. My daughter had brought over a bag of potato chips for us to munch on. I used the green x-large sealer on the chips bag and it worked better than I expected. Then I got a bag of veggies out of the freezer and tried the orange jumbo sized stick... I couldn't get it on the bag! The slit in the sealer stick is too narrow... same with another bag. Then after trying several other of the jumbo stick, I took the green one off the potato chip bag and, although it was a bit too short to seal the whole veggie bag, it was easy to slide on. After inspecting the green and orange (maybe they're really red) sealers, I found that the problem was the slit in the orange (jumbo) it is noticeably narrower than the green one. I guess I'll use a pocket knife on the orange ones to see if I can stretch to widen them.I was going to get some for the other chip lovers in our extended family but will have to try some others firs. These were less expensive than other brands for sale on Amazon, so I guess you get what you pay for.

An iffy copy, and certainly NOT a great copy
Not great. They don't seem to fit like Grip-Stic do. There is a fair amount of variability in the sealing sticks, too. Some have a very narrow gap/slot/opening (along the length of it); some have a more generous gap. They should all be the same - that variance is not by design. What it means is the narrow gap ones won't fit on most of your bags. What a hassle. Some of them have bends in them, too, but it didn't seem like that affected anything, though. But, again, a quality issue.I contacted the seller and their reply indicated they would tell the manufacturer, but otherwise, "thanks for buying"....I think in the future I would stick to the Grip-Stic brand.

Great product!
Once you get the hang of how to use these, they're fantastic! They make storage so much easier and cleaner, and chips/snacks don't go stale as quickly.
