Works great. Much better than the original factory gasket. Better than paying $90 for a new light.

I got this gasket to replace the original one. It has worn down and I noticed water leaking into the headliner in the truck. This new gasket fit perfectly and solved the leak.

I wish I knew every Silverado has leaking issues before it was too late. My 3rd brake light began leaking slowly, ruining my headliner, and causing mold and rust inside the cab before i was aware. A quick Google search found my problem immediately. Only thing is, GM forces you to buy a whole new lamp for WAY more than this $10 gasket! Time will tell if this gasket holds up better than OEM, but I can say it feels very good quality...Almost part rubber/part foam. It is way thicker than OEM (took a bit of effort to clip the lamp back in it was so thick, which means it's sealed tight!) Next day delivery, and no more leak!

Item arrived quickly.Price was right. Item looks correct, I haven't installed it yet.

Eh…go ahead and get a new OEM assembly that has all new seal and housing.

I have an 2008 Silverado and the seal for the high mount brake light was all dried up. Nice quality and perfect fit. Just make sure to remove all the old foam gasket, before installing the new one.

Since I installed this several months ago I've not had any leaks.

Not thick enough. Had to apply RTV sealant to seal the gap. I see that this is the type of gaskets manufacturing uses in the automobile industry. Foam gaskets are garbage. They don't last. Should have just used RTV sealant. Not knocking the vendor, just disappointed in the products offered in the industry. Cheap low quality nowadays.
